Schwarzkopf Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner Review

Schwarzkopf Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner Review

By Vrinda Aghi

Dear All,

I recently during my shopping haul bought myself Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner (200 ml).  Honestly, I was always lazy to put conditioner on my hair, it was a tedious process as I would have to towel dry my hair, apply it at the ends, wait for at least 2-3 minutes (hang around in the bathroom, when I’m short of time)….phew! Then, finally rinse it off. A task in itself for someone who has extra long hair and more specifically the Delhi winters which doesn’t allow you to be in the bath for long.

Anyway, I visited my salon for a regular hair trim, where I was suggested this spray on, leave-in conditioner by my stylist.  I generally trust his opinion, so I thought let me buy this one from the stores where I can get a discount. Its actual cost is INR 625, but after a discount, I got it for INR 563 (10%).

The conditioner is lightweight but intensive, a 2-phase emulsion spray, provides daily maintenance for hair that lacks moisture (like mine with dry ends). Hair is left with a healthy shine.  It also provides essential moisture for healthy hair. This leave-in conditioner is great for hair that doesn’t like heavy products. It doesn’t make my hair greasy but allows me to comb through my hair easily.

Ingredients:

Hyaluronic Acid Derivative:  This chemical is commonly used in body moisturizers. Its molecule is able to balance the water content. Its outstanding hydrating properties result in increased smoothing, softening and combating dryness.

Panthenol: It penetrates the hair shaft to inject hydration and balances the natural moisture level.

Amino Cell Rebuild Technology: Penetrates deeply into the hair to repair the inner cell structure.

The method I follow is:

1. Wash hair squeaky clean with my shampoo.
2. Towel dry my hair.
3. Shake the conditioner bottle.
4. Use the spray bottle and use it luxuriously on my mane focusing on the ends/tips. I usually spray some on the mid length hair as well.
5. No rinsing off required as it is a leave-in conditioner.

The spray nozzle is superb, also to add, the bottle is not sealed with the spray nozzle. That means once you have finished the conditioner, you can simply recycle the bottle. A 200 ml bottle should last for about 3-4 months for me since I have long hair. The conditioner is also available in 400 ml size. The fragrance is mild and not overpowering.

Pros of Schwarzkopf Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner:

  • Lightweight conditioner, does not limp your hair.
  • Keeps frizz in control.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Smaller version available (200 ml).
  • Cost effective.
  • No waiting time.
  • Adds volume to otherwise limp hair.
  • No need to use the shampoo from the same brand.
  • Can be used every day.
  • Available online (no discount although).

Cons of Schwarzkopf Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner:

  • Expensive, INR 625 for a 200 ml bottle and Rs. 990 for 400 ml.
  • Does nothing for split ends.
  • Not a good buy for those looking for heavy conditioning treatments.

Happy shopping to all you beauties, much love. See you with the next post.

  1. omg I am using this currently, in fact was holding it in my hand when I was checking out IMBB *hihi*
So I have had a love hate relationship with this one for a long time. I bought it in the winters and didn’t like it that much because may be we need heavy conditioning during that time. But as of now for the summers, I am totally loving it. *happy dance* *happy dance*

  2. Big hug to Jomol for welcoming me aboard *puchhi*

Astha: It great for summers, for winters what I did was used this regularly, and once a week use a heavy conditioner/Spa creme. 😀

    1. Akansha, I have used this as the only leave in conditioner. But you may also consider carrying a serum along, as the humidity may cos lot of frizz.

      Enjoy you break!

  6. This is an excellent product. I have used professional products for many year and have yet to find a product that is remotely as good. I don’t find it light at all, I have curly hair and find it heavy and rich, it weights down my curls and gives it a fantastic shine.
I hope that they do not discontinue this product. It also combats frizz. I don’t know how long this product has been around, but this is a winner. I highly recommend it.
