Another month and my splits are all gone!  So in these few months, I have worked out all the possible remedies with no go and Schwarzkopf being a salon brand, I wanted to give this shampoo a try. My Experience with Schwarzkopf Cream and Oil Shampoo:

I went short hair for almost 10 years now, and when everyone is going short, I decided to grow my hair a bit longer than the normal shoulder length and that is when the trouble started! I do not know if it is the serums I use, or water or combing my wet hair in a hurry that it was too late before I noticed the splits in my hair and believe me, it kept getting worse and worse. As I had decided to get a haircut, in the mean time I wanted to use a shampoo that was mild, and targeted the split ends without worsening it and that is how I came across the shampoo.

The shampoo comes in a brown plastic almond kind off bottle with a light shiny gold cap. The packaging is good and everything on it looks promising! To be frank, I was impressed with the lady on the product cover :D( weird!!)
The product is similar to almost all the other shampoos, pearly white, not very dense and transparent. The smell is mild flowery and pleasant. I have super oily hair and I was thinking twice in the shower while taking a shower if I made the right decision, as I knew oily hair + oily shampoo + oily conditioner can cause disasters to my hair. I have wavy hair and after the bath I noticed my curls were more dominant and as it dried, the curls remained. So I really liked the way it kept my hair texture just like the way it was and not like the other shampoos that make it straight wavy! It looks dried and not oily and it was a huge relief but by the next day my worst nightmare came true- It made my hair look super oily than usual and this was something I didn’t like. But it has argan oil and it is known for its good beneficial properties. It made my hair frizz free and also easy to manage. There were many time when I never used a towel, let my hair dry naturally and just by running my fingers on the hair made it easy to style.

Schwarzkopf Cream and Oil Shampoo Review ingredients

I didn’t want anything that would make my hair grow and there are no claims regarding the same but I noticed that the lengths have increased, it could be due to the repairing of split ends. I noticed a difference in my split ends after 2 months of regular usage. It didn’t reduce completely but did bring some difference to the split end and prevented further damage. So it is more like a preventive shampoo and not a remedy. So summing up:

Pros of Schwarzkopf Cream and Oil Shampoo:

• Helps in prevention of split ends.
• Contains oil and thus provides the same results to hair if oiled.
• Makes hair frizz free, smooth and manageable.
• Prevents knots and tangles.
• Prevents damage to the hair and moisturizes the ends.
• Would be best suited for people who have dry and damaged hair
• Brings out the natural texture of the hair.
• I noticed a little growth in my hair, it could be due to other factors too but it all started with using this shampoo
