My Experience with Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Color Freeze Treatment:
Packaging: The product comes in a simple, sturdy plastic tub, the tub is white in colour, with all the product information and has a hot pink screw-on lid. The packaging feels quite sturdy and is travel-friendly, with no fear of leakage. The tub is wide-mouthed and you have to dip your fingers in, to the tub to get the product out, which is the only thing that annoys me about it. I would have preferred a dispenser of some kind for hygiene concerns.
The Product: The Colour Freeze treatment is a soft-whipped product with a wiggly, creamy consistency.
It is not too runny and you will find it easy to handle and spread it well on to your hair while you use it. It has an average strong perfumed fragrance but it smells divine, the ones like you usually find in most conditioners, the fragrance is not strong enough to bother sensitive noses. It stays for a while once you rinse off and gradually fades off.
Whenever I use this colour freeze treatment on my coloured hair, the product makes my hair very shiny, manageable and super-soft. I have chosen to replace my conditioner with this product, as it does the job very well enough along with also maintaining my colour-treated hair well. It adds a healthy boost and shine to the colour I have on my hair, makes it look like it was freshly coloured. It’s perfect for dry and damaged hair, it’s thick and rich but doesn’t make the hair feel greasy once you rinse it off.
I would recommend this product, if you are looking for easy maintenance of your coloured hair and if you want a product that can double up as a conditioner too.
