Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volumising Hair Spray Review

Hello cuties,

I got a lot of volumising products from L’Oreal and Schwarzkopf and this is the last one from the lot as of now :-p This seemed pretty decent and I got it a very low price, so I think it was worth giving a shot. I have thin hair and this is designed exactly for such kind of hair. I love puff hairstyle, but it doesn’t stay upright, hence I thought this might help me with that. Let’s see whether it actually helped or not 🙂

My Experience with Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volumising Hair Spray:

The Schwarzkopf volumising spray comes in a long cylindrical bottle which holds a lot of quantity. The price is very good when compared to other brands. The bottle in parrot green and silver looks very attractive and good to flaunt on the shelf. Since the bottle is heavy, it wouldn’t fit into the travel-friendly category. It has a press button to release the spray. It is step 4, so it’s expected that it will have a very strong hold.  The spray is like water and sprays nicely on the hair. Initially, the spray has a strong chemical smell which then settles to a powdery smell.

The moment I sprayed it, my hair started to thicken up. It will not be very easy to comb the hair after spraying this and that might cause tugging and pulling, and you might lose many strands of hair. It literally made my hair thick and stick together. My hair looked like a wide tooth comb with so many gaps, making my hair look a bit less voluminous than usual.

To check the holding power, I curled my hair and did a puff. It gave me more volume when I did a puff, so the technique is that these sprays give more volume and hold when the hair is combed backwards. My puff stayed for the entire day. It is supposed to be used only on the roots and not the shaft. Because then the shaft will be super sticky and thick. The curls also stayed for the entire day, hence as a holding spray, I would say it did great. But you know we just want some volume, because on a regular basis, these products won’t be of much use.

These would come to use only when we have some weddings or functions. I did not like the hair spray because I wanted more volume and less hard hold. But according to what it claimed, it did an excellent job. And I cannot really crib, because we know how step 4 works! It is expected to thicken up hair and be very strong. Hence people who regularly do hairstyles or work at a salon, this stuff is great for you.

Cons of Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volumising Hair Spray:

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volumising Hair Spray?
No, I wouldn’t get it! Because this is something I am going to use once in a blue moon. This is specially designed for people who style their hair daily or work in salons.

IMBB Rating:
4/5

Conclusion:  I rated it well because it’s a different thing that I did not like it that much! But it did fulfill all its claims, so totally deserves that rating!
