Eye makeup fascinates every women and so, I am reviewing one of my favourite products from Seventeen Cosmetics, i.e. an eye liner pencil in the shade ‘Pirate Sea blue’. I use kohl every single day in my eyes and thought to try out some new shade for eyeliner other than black. So, let’s find out more about this eyeliner pencil.

My Experience with Seventeen Pirate Sea Blue Supersmooth Waterproof Eyeliner:

The overall color of the eye pencil represents the actual shade, that means it is color codes and makes it easy to locate. It has a plastic cap and the pencil needs to be sharpened in order to get precise application. But this process of sharpening leads to wastage of the product.

It has a very smooth and creamy texture that contains shimmer. It glides effortlessly on the eyes, but needs extreme care because excess pressure could break the tip of the pencil owing to its soft consistency.

As the brand claims, I really appreciate the consistency and pigmentation of the product. The teal color complements my skin tone as well. My eyes are quite sensitive to eye makeup. But this product does quite well. For eye makeup, I prefer the product that glides effortlessly on my eyes otherwise it ends up with swelling my eyes. The eyeliner has buttery soft formula which glides smoothly and a single stroke gives pigmentation so prominent that two swipes are not required.

For the sake of reviewing this product, I put it especially when I was going out for shopping and surprisingly, it stayed on for about 4 hours in hot and humid weather. After that, it faded little bit from outer corners of my eyes. The product is water proof. Even when it fades it leaves a blue tint at the corners of my eyes. Finally, I had to remove it with my makeup remover milk. The pencil needs to be sharpened for precise application which leads to wastage of the product.

The usage and the liking for a particular eyeliner is a personal choice. For me, I really like its smooth texture and shimmery consistency as it makes my eyes pop!
