Shahnaz Hussain Colour Magic Eyeshadow Review

Shahnaz Hussain Colour Magic Eyeshadow

I have never been quite fond of eyeshadows…but when I saw a herbal brand coming out with eyeshadows at such a nominal rate I made it a point to pick it up… so I picked up an eyeshadow trio… this pack is quiet old and expired by now…so I thought of writing a review before throwing it away…

P.S. the colours look more vibrant in reality than in the pictures. Maybe because of the poor camera and light source.

My Take on Shahnaz Hussain Colour Magic Eyeshadow

The product comes in a very handy and a small black case. It is sturdy and travel friendly. it has three colours green, black and blue. It has a vanity mirror and an applicator with sponge on both the ends.
As I told u earlier I was not quiet fond of eyeshadows basically because I did not know how to use them :p
But this product made me fall in love with the whole idea of colouring your eyelids…

The colours have a little shimmer to it…not actually shimmer but they look a little like metallic colours…I use the black one on the lower eyelids over my kajal and it looks awesome…I guess because of this my kajal doesn’t smudge…I also use it for making smokey eyes…I have also used this black one as a liner when I want a less made up look…blue colour make my eyes look very vibrant…I also use it in place of a blue kajal on lower eyelids…and it looks lovely..

I still haven’t used the green one…I am not really fond of that colour…
The sponge applicator is very easy to use and picks up just the right amount…
The colours when used over a primer looks even more appealing.

The product does stand to its claims
• Easy to blend- yes it is
• Crease free- definitely it is
• Long lasting- a big yeessssss…doesn’t need touch ups at all…not for 4-5hrs atleast…I have never used it for more than this duration.

The mirror is very useful when you are travelling…

The packaging doesn’t mention it but I feel it is water proof to an extent because I need a make up remover to remove it completely or else little shimmer particles are left even after washing it with a face wash…

Pros of Shahnaz Hussain Colour Magic Eyeshadow

• Lovely colours
• Herbal (it claims to be)
• Nice applicator
• Mirror is very useful
• Travel friendly pack
• Reasonably priced
• Come from a reputed brand
• Crease free

Cons of Shahnaz Hussain Colour Magic Eyeshadow

• Ingredient list not mentioned
• I don’t like the green colour (that’s my personal opinion)
• Availability may be an issue
Can not think of anything else

IMBB rating— 4/5
-1 because of the green colour…I would have loved to have a silver one instead and not mentioning the ingredients

    1. you know what i feel is…you cannot simply make eyeshadows without chemicals…only herbal ingredients can just not make something like this…u need preservatives and colour for sure…so i dont think it is herbal but i trust the brand so i went for it 🙂
