Shahnaz Hussain Shaheel Cover Stick-Review

Hello lovelies….

Here I am again with another review and this is about a product which seems very essential in every girl’s kit because everyone every now and then has the need to camouflage a few spots and little dark circles….

Yup…so this is about a concealer /cover stick… It is the Shahnaz Husain Shaheel Cover Stick in the shade light beige.
I am not a person very much in to foundation or concealers on a day to day basis….So this is my first concealer I ever tried, it is much cheaper compared to the ones from high-end brands…as I did not want to splurge on a product which I had never used before and was not sure about.

What the brand claims:

An ideal concealer, which provides extra coverage for marks, scars and dark shadows around eyes. Conceals blemishes and gives make-up a satin smooth finish.

Directions of use:

Apply on blemishes or under-eye shadows to cover them. Then apply foundation over entire face for an even color tone.

My experience with Shahnaz Hussain Shaheel Cover Stick:

I am so disappointed with this product because it has failed me so bad and I am glad I din’t spend too much to be disappointed. The packaging is like that of a lipstick and is fine but not too sturdy, easy to use and travel friendly.
The product does nothing in terms of coverage, feels heavy and is very very greasy; I hate it on my skin. It feels cakey once applied. So this product is not worth a try from my experience… :(

Pros of Shahnaz Hussain Shaheel Cover Stick:

  • Packaging is travel friendly but sturdy enough.
  • I don’t see any pros as the product does not provide any kind of coverage.

Cons of Shahnaz Hussain Shaheel Cover Stick:

  • Feels heavy, greasy, cakey on skin.
  • Leaves a pinkish cast which makes my wheatish skin look darker.

OMG I have this! It was a day before my engagement and I had these reddish areas on the sides of my nose and I was freaking out! I did not have my concealer at hand and my mom went out and bought this. And it was horrible!! But luckily the photos didnt pick up anything and I still looked good ! PHEW! What a scare! I tossed this out the next day!

I dont think they have good scientists and researchers enough who`d formulate proper make-up to keep at par with international brands which obviously have much better lab facilities..So I think S?hahnaz hussain`s skincare may still be okay , but the makeup`s definitely no no.

OMGG!!! what is this?? I guess they should stick to skin care only and make it better. This is soo bad!! :(

You can try using it as a lip erase or use to lighten lipstick shades you know..insead of throwing it away.. just a thought. ^_^

Try using it as an under-a-lippie base. Might work that way :)
