I was searching for some highlighters and contouring palettes in a store and came across this bronzer from the Japanese brand “Shiseido.” Read on further to know more about this product.

My Experience with Shiseido Bronzer Oil-Free:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The bronzer palette comes in a strong bronze colored cardboard packaging. The packaging has all the necessary details about the product. It comes in a deep rectangular pan. The wine-colored plastic pan has the brand logo embossed on it on the lower right side of the lid. The pan does not look any fancy or luxurious but the packaging is surely very practical and easy to carry around.

The palette has a small mirror attached to the lower side of the lid. The bronzer comes with a small brush which is soft and useful. It just picks up the right amount of the product and spreads it so well. It helps in blending the bronzer beautifully into the skin. The lid fits securely making this small pan fit for travel purposes. The shade name is written on the base of the pan. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

The bronzer comes in three different shades – Light, Medium, and Dark. I had picked the shade “Dark Fonce”, which is the medium shade. This shade suits my skin tone perfectly and it will surely suit a wide variety of Indian skin tones. It is a warm-toned brown-colored bronzer with some orangish undertones. The color shows up so well on my skin tone and imparts a natural look. It does not look muddy on my skin tone.

This bronzer has extremely finely milled golden shimmers in it that are not visible when applied on the skin. The shimmers are not at all noticeable and almost looks like a matte bronzer. You may check the picture below and see the lovely velvety matte finish. The formula is amazingly pigmented – one swipe deliver high amount of color. It still requires two-three swipes to build up the color properly.

The texture of this bronzing powder is lovely. It is super soft and smooth. The powder is very finely milled and blends into the skin like a dream. It never gets patchy. It does not cling to the dry parts of the skin. The bronzer blends amazingly. Though, it has finely milled micro shimmers, still the texture is not gritty at all and feels nice on the skin. It offers a beautiful sheen to the skin. The bronzer helps to achieve a natural sun-kissed glow. Though, the texture is almost smooth, there is a little fallout when you pick it up with the brush.

It easily stays for 5-6 hours on my oily skin with a primer underneath. Though, I had expected a better staying power but it is pretty satisfactory. There is hardly any fading. The bronzer is dermatologically tested and it is non comedogenic, so suitable for my acne-prone skin. This bronzer has not broken me out at all. Overall, this is a lovely bronzer. Totally worth trying!
