Shiseido Cleansing Massage Brush Review

Today I will be reviewing a face cleansing brush from Shiseido. I had been planning to add a brush to my face cleaning routing but due to time constraints I have not been able to do much research on these brushes. I came to learn that there are two kinds— one is motorized and the other manual. Well I tried the motorized one at my local store but I had to return it as it made my sensitive skin even more agitated and red. So here I am with a manual one which has the softest bristles ever.

It comes in a cardboard box and has a protective cap for the bristles that is great as it doesn’t let the bristles to get damaged which great for travel as well for its size.

My Experience with Shiseido Cleansing Massage Brush:

As I said I bought one of the motorized face cleansing brushes from a leading brand but despite trying for a couple of days it gave me the most reddest rash on my face, making me look like a lobster. Since this season my allergies are going wild I didn’t feel it was safe to irritate my already disturbed skin so I went ahead and returned the product, thanks to the generous return policy.

This didn’t stop me from my search for the perfect brush for my face that can help in cleansing and also be a mild massager, and my search ended at the Sephora store. This little wonder from Shiseido and has the softest bristles ever. The only negative point I can say is that it is not a motorized one but it doesn’t cost a fortune either.
I have never been so happy using my face wash every night and it is something I look forward to since I got this as it makes the whole cleansing ritual so very calming and relaxing. The makers have been really thoughtful to add a protective cap on this brush that helps to retain its shape when in your bag during travel. The silicone bristles massage the skin mildly and makes the skin look healthier and never has irritated my skin (I have an extremely sensitive skin).

I use it with my regular face washes and this makes my face washes last longer as it creates a lot of foam and lathers well even with the tiniest amount of product. The curved handle is ergonomically designed for ease of use and it does not need any extra effort to use it. When I am done I just wash it with luke-warm water and shake off the excess water and let it air dry and its good as new for the next use 🙂
I am so glad to have it and really happy to repurchase it again when this one gets old.

Do I Recommend Shiseido Cleansing Massage Brush?

It is the most gentle face brush I have ever used and doesn’t irritate the skin. Highly recommended for everyday use for all seasons 🙂
On a separate note, I finally dived into the Tangle Teezer domain 😀 and got the gold one 🙂 so far loving the fact that how mild it is on my hair…totally worth it and lives up to the hype.
