I am superrr excited to write this review as this is my first lipstick from Shiseido, thank to IMBB 🙂 I am very happy with this moisturizing soft plum shade from them,it is just how I like my lipsticks to be.! Take a look!

The packaging comes in a simple black one, with a red carton on the outside, I have to admit here that the packaging of Shiseido products is nothing great. For the same cost YSL packaging is to die for. YSL lipsticks cost only a 100 more at 1900, but this one is nothing compared to the packaging of YSL. Anyway as log as the lipstick is amazing, I am willing to ignore it. The lipstick does not click lock but rather the cap slides into the grooves at the curve. It is good enough to carry hoping your expensive lipsticks would not be shattered to pieces in your handbag 😛

 

The lipstick is a super creamy mauvy plum pink kind of a shade. In the store lighting it looked more pink but at home it was what the brand describes it “soft plum” . The lipstick does not have any shimmer, it is pure cream and it comes with a super glossy finish, you can call it moisture or wet shine, but it is not at all pearly or frosty.I love it, the finish makes the lips look fuller and nourished plus dry lips would look very moisturized too.

The lipstick is like a fountain of moisture :p once you glide it, you can witness full color with bursts of water shine and glossy finish. At one I thought it would creamy matte but the the whole burst of moisture made me realize it is a full on glossy lipstick, which makes the lips look supple.

One coat is really enough for full coverage, it is saturated with color and very pigmented. You would not feel the need to go over twice.It covers lip color well and also  hydrates dry lips, fills in lip lines and keeps lips soft with full color.

What bothers me slightly is that in the process too look glossy and supple, it kind of bleeds on me even in one coat. One coat will last you 2-3 hours and two coats will bleed too much. So using a lip liner as base and outline is a good idea.the staying power is above average and it does transfer easily. Apart from that it is a perfect plum pink lipstick, love it a lot!
