Shiseido Tiss Deep Off Cloth Review

Just before my big trip, I stumbled across these wipes. I have never seen Shiseido wipes anywhere so far and was curious about the quality because let’s face it, each and every brand has its share of hits and misses. Let’s see if this was a hit or a miss.

Packaging:
The wipes come in a pretty small-sized, compact dirty gold packaging. Since it is quite small and compact, it is very purse-friendly and an on-the-go kind of product. I think the packaging is much better than that of standard wipes because of the plastic closure on top which clicks shut. Because if it were a regular plastic flap covering those wipes, with time, the plastic flap tends to lose its tackiness and come off. This makes the wipes lose their moisture. But the plastic closure that these wipes have ensures that there is no loss of moisture/liquid.

My Thoughts on Shiseido Tiss Deep Off Cloth:

Coming to the actual wipes, there are 36 sheets. The wipes are supposed to have 130 mL of liquid makeup remover in them. That is a lot of liquid! So these wipes are absolutely saturated with liquid, but they don’t drip at all when using them. They seem to remove the most stubborn, waterproof makeup but not with a single swipe. It takes a few swipes to completely remove stubborn makeup but because it is quite saturated with liquid, I don’t find that it irritates my skin or eyes while doing so.

That being said, as I said before, I wish I could remove the makeup with fewer swipes. It takes a bit of work to get the gunk off. I need 2 wipes in total each time I remove makeup with these. So I don’t use them every day just on the days when I have very waterproof makeup on. Their website says it is unscented but they do have a slight ethanol-type scent to them and I don’t really mind it.

I have traveled to India with them and they have not come undone on their own. You can refrigerate it in the summer to make the experience more pleasant I suppose, but I don’t do this.

• Removes stubborn waterproof makeup well.
• Does not irritate skin or eyes.

Cons of Shiseido Tiss Deep Off Cloth:

• Takes a bit of work to remove waterproof makeup.

Would I Recommend Shiseido Tiss Deep Off Cloth?
As you can see, the pros outweigh the cons 🙂 This is a good thing to throw in your purse and use when need be.
