Hey lovelies!
A few questions before I begin the review…
What is the most expressive feature of your face? Usually, what the first thing people study about you? What is the most powerful tool which speaks its own language? Well, most of you would have the same answer – eyes! In every sense, eyes are the windows of our thoughts and soul. Our eyes certainly speak beauty and don’t we love it when we experiment a lot with our eye makeup? Dramatic eyeliners, ultra-volume mascaras, colourful eye shadows, defining kohl! Well, usually our makeup kit is decked up with these, but sometimes we tend to ignore the most sensitive and thinnest skin of our face. Yes, I am talking about those upsetting, undermining and unattractive puffiness of the eye region. The stress of the hectic times we lead which reflects around our eyes! It is so important to take care of it!
Well, the simple solution is a good eye cream. Honestly, I have read lot about using eye creams once you cross 30! Really? I don’t think so. An eye cream is as important as any moisturiser. And here I am presenting a review of Simple Eye Balm. Simple products follow ‘no colour no perfume’ and are manufactured by pure, natural and skin-loving ingredients. Quite interesting! I have tried Simple face wash and toner from the brand, and I must admit they are very soft and mild for the skin. They are designed to work for sensitive skin.

My Experience with Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm:
Firstly, I don’t have sensitive skin at all; but as it’s the matter of the eyes, I wanted to try with a sensitive eye cream. As the product itself describes, the balm is quite kind to eyes and it’s very soothing. It gets absorbed instantly into the skin and keeps the skin hydrated. As the consistency is not at all heavy, it’s ideal for thin skin around the eye area.
It keeps the skin moisturized the entire day and reduces puffiness for sure. Yes, it’s quite refreshing and does improve your skin condition. And, the good part is that this cream works like a wonderful eye primer. Whenever, I apply this, I have observed that my eye makeup stays longer.
However, this product is certainly not designed for wrinkles and dark circles. Not that I have any wrinkles (thankfully!), but sadly I have little dark skin under the eyes and this cream didn’t lighten my skin tone! So, do we need another cream to work in conjunction with this one? Yes!!
Nevertheless, as the cream is soothing, this works better after eyebrow threading, it reduces the burning sensation near the brow region and calms the skin. Overall, what I have perceived is the benefits of using this balm are quite plain and basic. However as it’s gentle, hydrating and refreshing, adding one more product in my beauty regime is ‘okay’.

I always need something after getting my eyebrows threaded, so I go for frozen green tea bags. This one seems to be working great for that, but I would want my eye cream to soothe and remove dark circles too.
Thats what! This eye balm is good, no doubt. But sadly, this is not designed for dark circles…:-(
I need something like this today, my eyes are feeling dead 🙁
Hey Jomol,
Yes, this product is fantastic for good moisturization and soothing effect …:-)
This is a decent eye cream in my opinion, but I prefer using eye creams which targets dark circles 🙂
Oh yes, Eye creams are better when its formulated for wrinkles and dark circles…and this doesnt fall in this criteria.. 🙁
seems good, but I prefer something which works on dark circles and wrinkles too!!!
