Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer Review

Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer Review

Hi Girls,

Today, I will review Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Replenishing Rich Moisturizer.  I like trying out new moisturizers every now and then as it helps me from boredom by using same moisturizing product every day. I buy the smaller sizes whenever possible so that even if that particular moisturizer is a failure, I can finish it off easily. So, when I saw this moisturizer, I couldn’t help myself from picking it up as it looked good in a simple green and white packaging. I found one more moisturizer from them. It’s labeled as Hydrating Light Moisturizer.

My Take on Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer:

Fragrance:

Even though it is said in their packaging that the moisturizer contains no perfume, it does have a very mild fragrance. Anyway, its not an irritating one and doesn’t stay on the skin for much time after the lotion is applied.

Simple

Consistency:

I expected a thick lotion as the label says “rich moisturizer,” but the lotion that came out of the bottle was thin and somewhat runny.

Moisturizer

Moisturizing Factor:

The lotion on application feels cool like aloe-vera moisturizers and makes skin soft and gets easily absorbed by the skin. The nearly runny consistency makes it easy to apply it on the skin. The moisturizer doesn’t feel greasy, but it feels very light to be called a rich moisturizer. If Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer is this light, I can’t imagine how Simple Hydrating Light Moisturizer will be!  The replenishing Rich Moisturizer moisturizes the skin for 3-4 hours maximum and then re-application is needed. On the package, they claim 12-hour moisturization! That is really a very tall claim. The label “Rich Moisturizer” made me think it was for dry skin, but this one is surely not for dry skin. It may be an okay to good moisturizer for oily to normal skin.

Swatch

As for its claim to be suitable for sensitive skin, I think that may be true as it didn’t cause me any pimples or any type of skin irritation. It doesn’t contain parabens (both methyl paraben and propyl paraben) which seems to be a good plus to me. It doesn’t have sun protection, so I mainly use it as a night time lotion now.

Packaging:

Their packaging is simple but nice. The moisturizer comes in a white bottle with flip-open green cap, inside a white cardboard carton. On one side of the carton, they have written their “Simple” philosophy.

Overall, it’s an okay moisturizer for sensitive normal to oily skin. People who love light and non-greasy moisturizers will love them. But surely it is not for the dry-skinned beauties.Personally, I think I can find better moisturizer for this prize.
