Sleek Makeup Caribbean Collection Photos, Swatches

Sleek makeup is launching its Caribbean Collection on July, 6 2011 . There are 3 products in the collection – an eyeshadow palette consisting for 12 eyeshadows, a lip conditioner and a blush. The theme revolves around a lot of bright colours. It is a limited edition collection and would be available at www.sleekmakeup.com

Excellent price range!

Curacao Palette : It is a 12 pan palette consisting of lots of bright colour eyeshadows. The packaging of the palette is sleek black case. There is “Sleek” embossed on the palette and it includes a wide mirror on the inside panel of the flap. The Curcao palette comes with a duo sponge tip applicator, which in my opinion is of no use.

Each eyeshadow is given a name. There is thin plastic film on the palette that has the names of the shadows printed on it.

Almost all eyeshadows are very pigmented. The darker eyeshadows have a bit of a fall out but considering how well they go on lids and blend easily, you would really ignore that part.

Top row left to right:

Tequila Sunrise : It is a metallic orangis copper eyeshadow. Very pigmented. It is quite powdery and may have a bit of a fall out.

Martini: Gorgeous champagne coloured eyeshadow. It has a pearly sheen to it and great for highlighting the inner corner and browbone.

Blue Hawaiian : This is the only eyeshadow in the palette that does not have a good pigmentation. It is a sheer sky blue colour. Bad payoff!

Bloody Mary : It’s a crimson coloured eyeshadow, has a smooth finish, is matte  and has medium to buildable pigmentation.

ScrewDriver : It is a warm lemony yellow eyeshadow. Does not have shimmer but has a satiny finish. it is quite smooth and has a decent colour payoff.

Green Iguana : It is a metallic finish teal green eyeshadow. Gorgeous!

Bottom row – left to right

Apres Midori : It is a yellow toned green. It is a pearly finish to it. good colour pay off.

Blue Lagoon : It’s a freshwater blue kinda colour. very pigmented, smooth and has matte finish.

Purple haze : true purple eyeshadow. No shimmer or shine, nicely pigmented.

Green Martini : It’s a khaki green eyeshadow with golden shimmer in it. It is quite powdery and would have fall out. Very pigmented and smooth.

Singapore Sling : It is a Violet pink eyeshadow with pearly finish.

Expresso Martini : A matte medium black eyeshadow. I’d probably tell you about this when I do the detailed review.

Aruba 890 Blush : ( Price : 4.29 pounds = around Rs 300 for 8 gm) It is a tangerine orange blush. It does not have any shimmer or shine. It has medium to buildable pigmentation. Would be great especially for dusky skin tones.

Bonaire Pout Polish SPF 15 Lip Conditioner ( Price – $6.50 , around Rs 292 ) It is a citrusy orange  tinted lip balm. It is super glossy and gives that look of juicy orange lips. Very moisturizing. It has that sweet caramel (y) flavour to it , which may bother a few. And it come in a pot , which may bother a few like me. I have been using it oflate and it stays on my lips for almost an hour without eating or drinking. It gives the look of plumped lips and totally erases the look of fine lines on lips. Great price, good product, and a lot of product.

Overall all, this is a fun collection at great prices. The eyeshadow palette is quite impressive and so is the pout polish. I haven’t got a chance to use the blush as yet.  I’d do a detailed review of each product in a few days.
