Today, I am reviewing Sleek Makeup Eau La La liners. I own a couple of shades and I thought I would review 2 each so that I can compare the similar shades of Urban Decay Eye Liners with them.
First, I am reviewing shades “Cobalt Blue” and “Blue Moon” and the Urban Decay shade I am comparing these with is “Clash.”
What Sleek Makeup Claims about Eau La La Liners:
Smudge proof, multi-purpose pencils in 20 show-stopping colours. Highly pigmented with a unique waterproof formulation, Eau La La are the ultimate in liner luxury. Enriched with a soft, creamy formulation, Eau La La are perfect for use on the eyes, lips, brows and body.
4 GBP and can be bought from all Superdrug outlets across UK as well as online from Sleek Makeup’s website.
1.9 g/0.07 oz
No Ingredient list is mentioned.
Let me share the swatches with you all.
In the bluish shades that I own, I like Blue Moon the most, Cobalt Blue is lighter compared to Blue Moon; UD liner Clash belongs to the same color family. I think UD is much more easier to glide on than Sleek, but then Sleek is good too It too glides on easily and it lasts forever. It does what it claims. These liners are highly pigmented. Its water proof. You have to be very quick while applying these liners. I noticed no smudging, creasing, etc., even after hours of application. To be honest, its really a hit from Sleek Makeup. I don’t have any NYX slide pencils to compare these with. Else, I would have compared the similar shades too These can be sharpened using any regular sharpener; material is wooden which makes it easier to sharpen.
Now, from the shades Cobalt blue and Blue Moon; I think Blue Moon is the best.
You yourself decide from the swatches:
Pros of Sleek Makeup Eau La La Liners – Blue and Blue Moon:
- Easy to glide and apply.
- Highly pigmented.
- No fading, creasing, etc.
- Long lasting.
- Doesn’t irritate eye area.
- Shelf life of 12 months.
- Does what it claims.
Cons of Sleek Makeup Eau La La Liners – Blue and Blue Moon:
- No ingredients mentioned.
- Needs to be ordered online.
In Superdrug outlets, there are no testers; which makes them harder to test and buy; one SA even told me that its unhygenic to allow testers for eyeliners But they have testers for other brand’s eyeliners I bought these shades without testing. If I had swatched, I would have only opted for Blue Moon.
I can’t think of any other cons.
Will I Repurchase Sleek Makeup Eau La La Liners – Blue and Blue Moon?
May be, I will try other shades.
