I have started to collect lip balms all over again, and here I am reviewing one tin lip balm from my stash! I picked up a few cool products from Soap and Glory, and this is one of them. My Experience with Soap and Glory A Great Kisser Lip Moisture Balm Peaches n’ Cream:
Packaging: The lip balm comes in a cute coral tin with pink and white designs over it, which makes it look extremely cute. The tin is handy, compact, it opens easily – so no flaws with the packaging. There is just one common problem with such tin packaging and application -you have to dip your fingers into the tin. It always feels so good to own Soap and Glory products since they look so cute. The price is a bit high for a lip balm but that is okay since it is a good brand and it will go a long way.
Shade, smell and feel on the lips: The lip balm looks very peachy in the tin but, on the lips, it goes on very sheer. It can make a good bedtime lip balm but for the day, I would prefer the tinted ones over this one. It smells delicious. It smells like some yummy fruit cake made up of peaches and cream. The peach scent is very prominent and the scent is very fresh and natural. The smell lingers for a while on my lips and then fades off. The lip balm glides very smoothly on my lips but it is a bit heavy and waxy. I would prefer wearing this at night because for mornings it is too heavy and it makes my hair stick on the lips.
Results: The lip balm is heavy which is why it treats my lips very well. It is a good lip mask as well as I can apply it for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off to get a soft base for the lipsticks. It nicely heals and treats the chapped lips getting rid of all the flakes from my lips. It won’t heal the lips in the very first go but every day bedtime application shows good results. It is a nice lip balm for everyday use but yes we do have a lot of alternate products to go for!
