So today I thought of compiling the answers to all the common queries that you have regarding Rati and IMBB. I hope that it throws some light on what we do here. 🙂
What do you do Rati?
Rati is a secret service agent who is paid by the government to wear new clothes, drive fast cars, hold expensive bags, and go to new restaurants. We are always chasing bad guys and all the instagram pictures that you see are taken during our job. We cannot disclose anything further because we have taken an oath of secrecy. If you feel jealous about it, remember that we are risking our lives for our country.
How much do you earn? How do you manage to buy all those expensive bags and shoes and makeup?
we realized very early in life that hard work doesn’t pay and you can’t become rich working hard. So we have devised a system that’ll last us for the next 20 years- we have a room full of gold bars, given to us by our ancestors. So every week, we take out one gold bar and sell it. The money is enough to buy us some makeup and bags, shoes for that week. Once the money ends, we repeat the cycle.
Can you share your weight loss secret?
We understand that you are so committed about your weight loss that you’d start right away once we tell you about our routine. But Rati’s weight loss routine is so top-notch and technologically advanced that it might be a little confusing for the uninitiated. It involves a highly complex ritual of going to the gym everyday and watching what you are eating. Everytime we think about writing a post on this our mind boggles at the size of the information that we would have to share. Hence we have to keep Rati’s weight loss thing all very secret and hush hush. Sorry about that.
What do you do with all this makeup?
Everyday, early morning, we tie all our makeup around our body, light some scented candles, and dance for half an hour in front of the laptop. We find this a highly energizing, invigorating and enriching experience. The more the weight of the makeup, the healthier is the exercise. Hence we are into collecting more and more makeup in order to lead a healthy life. Hope you are okay with it.
Why don’t you sell your makeup in a blog sale?
While we understand that our raison d’être in life is to buy expensive makeup and sell you at half the price, we’re very negligent in fulfilling our responsibilities. We realize this mistake and feel very guilty about it. Sometimes we are so full of sadness that we are not selling you makeup that we have to get drunk in order to not burst out into tears. But one day, we would certainly hold a blog sale. Count on it.
Why do you approve only nice comments?
What can I say, we dig weirdos. We find weird people, who are honest, hard-working, positive, and nice, very cool. We know it’s not a very positive behavior from us to ignore normal people who are mean and nasty, and who love to post hate comments. Believe me, we are trying hard to grow up and understand the point of view of these normal people also.

We have some custom made makeup belt wraps and scented candles directly imported from China. We also chant a mantra during our dance which contains the names of famous luxury brands. We would soon disclose the right method to perform the ‘makeup dance’ in order to help our readers and promote the cult.

Okay now I get how such questions can be ignorant and downright irritating at times but such a response is not graceful. I know, I know this comment of mine would be considered as “hating” but I have always liked this site. Why not just ignore such questions and move on? As a writer, I don’t get trapped into words such as graceful/ ungraceful, right/ wrong etc. When I feel like writing something, I just write. Today I wanted to take a dig at something I find queer, sweet and funny. That is all. You can term my writing anything and it is your decision. That would not stop me from being me. I would still write when I want to write and the way I want to write. 🙂
By the way, I do not find these questions ignorant or irritating. 🙂
And about the weightloss question I have already mentioned what I find queer and funny, if you read carefully. About the compliments part, I think we already take it as a compliment and have always shared whatever little we know. 🙂

Although i dont completely agree with ‘hate comments’ part. I think the loyal readers of imbb who make imbb what it is, can post comments in which they do not agree with the writer or may have a different view on the product or imbb itself. Afterall, they are the readers!
