Soulflower Foot Massage Oil Review

Soulflower Foot Massage oil

Hello Everyone!

Soulflower foot massage oil

Today, I am going to review Soulflower’s Foot Reflexology oil. I had never heard of this brand before. I was on a window shopping trip to Shopper’s Stop when I saw its display counter with a variety of essential oils, car perfumes, etc. I bought a few essential oils – Citronella, Lemon, Stress relief, Lavender and Orange. While browsing through the shelf, this thing caught my attention. As my feet are dry and driest (in the entire universe in winters), I get attracted to anything and everything that claims giving good feet after using it, but on a personal basis, I prefer using oils to creams in winters. So, I thought of giving this a try.

Price:
Rs.250/- for 90 ml.

I know the first thought that many of you would have in your mind would be “oh my God, the bottle is sooo cute.” Trust me, I also had the same feeling on seeing this and it has a twig of lemongrass in it (to add to the whole drama of being a foot massage oil).

My Take on Soulflower Foot Massage Oil:

Since the bottle is very cute, I was tempted to use it the night I bought it. On seeing the bottle and reading the name “Soulflower,” my hubby’s take was, “are you sure this is not some cheap brand, putting more emphasis on the shape of the bottle and putting a twig of lemongrass to enhance the appeal of the product? Would it not be good if you stick to your almond and castor oil routine?

I very confidently told him, “nai nai its not that and how would I know whether its good or not until I try it out!
I liked the smell when I opened the bottle. I could smell Tea Tree, Lemon Grass and feel Sesame and Peppermint since it gave my feet a cooling effect without the chipchipa feel.
Sometimes, I mix it with glycerine and sometimes I apply it alone. I do not take the pain of rubbing it till it gets completely absorbed, I just see that the skin on my feet is completely enveloped in this oil, then I put on my socks and hit the bed. I can see a visible difference in my skin, it has started to glow, absolutely no feel of dryness. Wow!
Since I do not like wearing slippers, I take off my socks and move on my feet; this oil is not doing much to help me with cracks on my heels. For that, I am copying Rati and I am using Nivea for my feet after having my bath and wear socks afterwards, and it helped! But since, I have to bathe my kid and run after him the whole day, I get uneasy in my socks and remove them.

The oil looks something like this. The colour is similar to sesame oil.

Pros of Soulflower Foot Massage Oil

1) Made the skin on my feet soft and glowing (I have been using it twice a day for the past 1 week).
2) No chipchipa feel, but wearing socks after this is compulsory.
3) I like its smell.
4) I like the cute bottle.
5) Easily available at Shopper’s Stop.
6) Sturdy packaging (one night I forgot to keep it aside and saw my kid playing with it the other morning, but it didn’t spill even when kept upside down on the bed :D:D:D)

Cons of Soulflower Foot Massage Oil

Pricey.

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5. I would have loved it if it had worked for my cracked heels.

Would I Repurchase?

The glow and feel of the skin on my feet is noticeable! My hubby complimented me for the same. Of course, I am buying it again!
