Directions For Use:

Pour onto moistened pouf, sponge, wash cloth or hands. Work into a rich creamy lather and rinse.

My Experience with St. Ives Revitalizing Pear and Soy Hydrating Body Wash:

The St. Ives Pear and Soy Body Wash is an Allure “Best in Beauty” award winning product. A well-deserved winner! The body wash comes packed in a white capped, translucent flip top bottle.  The translucent bottle lets you see how much of the body wash remains in the bottle. You get 709 ml of the body wash which is a rather good amount for the price. The cap closes tightly and you can take it in your bag during travel, if you wish.

The body wash is pale yellowish-green in color – the color of green pears! The consistency is neither too thick nor too runny. It lathers well when used directly or with a loofah. It does not contain any exfoliating particles, so you might want to use it with a loofah, if you need exfoliation.

This body wash contains pear extract and soy milk. The fragrance is amazing! It has a slightly sweet, fruity scent of ripe pears. The revitalizing claim is definitely true! It leaves you feeling fresh and energetic. The entire bathroom is filled with this heady scent which lingers in the air for a half hour at least.

The body wash rinses off easily with water and leaves the skin clean without any residue. My skin feels soft and moisturized throughout the day, even if I skip a body lotion. The main ingredients of this body wash, i.e. glycerin, pear extract and soy milk, are the reasons for the gentle but effective moisturization.

The scent stays on the skin for a few hours, depending on the quantity of body wash you have used. This is not too bad, considering that many other body washes do not have any lingering scent at all. But the scent is so refreshing and wonderful that I wish it lasted longer. At least St. Ives should introduce a body lotion with the same fragrance! It would be great to layer it on with this body wash and have a long lasting delightful scent! Ah well, I can dream!

Do I Recommend St. Ives Revitalizing Pear and Soy Hydrating Body Wash?

Yes definitely.  This is my favorite among all the St. Ives body washes I have tried so far. And I have tried so many! Do try it if you get a chance! You will love the rich creamy lather and heavenly smell!
