Stila Mineral Matte Eye Shadow Nanda Devi Review

Stila Mineral Matte Eye Shadow Nanda Devi

Hi Everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrated it. I came across my Stila Eye shadow in Nanda Devi that I had bought at Sephora a long time ago.  I spent about 15$ on this eye shadow, but it’s worth every single dollar. I got this shadow actually for my eyebrows and for a nice crease color.

Description and Finish:
The Stila Single Eyeshadow in Nanda Devi has a matte finish. The color is very close to chocolate. The pigmentation is amazing for a matte finish. All my other matte eyeshadows that I have are usually pretty sheer. The pan of this eyeshadow is a bigger size. If you own a MAC eyeshadow, please know that this eyeshadow is bigger than a regular MAC eyeshadow. When I swatched the eyeshadow, it felt very creamy and soft.

You can buy this eyeshadow at Sephora or online. The pan is tin plate which will stick to a magnet. If you have a Z-Palette, you can put it in there without needing to glue a piece of magnet underneath the pan.  I love how it fills in my eyebrows. My hair is dark brown and this color isn’t too dark for my eyebrows. It’s kind of chalky and by that I mean when I take my eyebrow brush and pick up some eyeshadow, it tends to get chalky and you have to blow away the leftover on the pan.

I find it weird that you shouldn’t use it after 6 months anymore. I never knew an eyeshadow has a lifetime also.

  • Matte finish.
  • Its very well packaged.

Cons of Stila Mineral Matte Eye Shadow Nanda Devi:

  • Kind of chalky.
  • Doesn’t fit in my Coastal Scents palette.
  • Expensive.
  • Comes with an expiration date.

Last Word on Stila Mineral Matte Eye Shadow Nanda Devi:
I don’t regret buying this eyeshadow. I just don’t understand why I shouldn’t use it after 6 months anymore. I’m not going to throw it away though I’m still going to use it till the pan is empty. I’m not sure if you are able to buy it in India, but I know for a fact that you can buy this eyeshadow online. This is a perfect eyebrow color for dark to medium hair. It is also very useful to darken your crease.  I hope you enjoyed reading this review. Take care everyone!!!

  1. Amazing eyeshadow…. :woot: ..yeah Nanda Devi is a place in India…a religious place specifically where hindu devotees go to worship the deity named Nanda Devi!! 🙂

  2. Hey Sahar, Awesome color and grt pigmentation.., and a very unique name :shy:
Sahar, since its mineral eyeshadow, they give this life span. All the mineral prodcuts have a shorter lfe span i believe.. :worship:

    1. achha ?:) bt i hv heard they dont expire jaldi…. 😐 😐 😐 Even my L’oreal khol Mineral doesn’t have an expiry date mentioned any where :tremble: :tremble: :tremble:

  3. Oooh! Sooo nice! :woot: :woot: But I don’t understand the expiry date. 😐
And Nanda Devi as an eyeshadow name seems rather odd. :stars:
