Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum

Hi lovelies!

I have not been doing product reviews for many days since I was busy doing eye makeup tutorials, but my eye infection stopped me from continuing with the tutorials for the time being and thankfully my eyes are getting normal once again. But I will tarry a bit more with the tutorials as I cannot take any more risk. So today, please contend yourself with a product review from me. Trust me, the read won’t be a waste of time.

Streax+Perfect+Shine+Hair+Serum Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum Review

Price:

Rs. 175 for 100 ml

Product description:

Smoothes dry, frizzy, unruly hair. Natural moisture locking and conditioning effect of walnut oil helps in enhancing hair smoothness and your hair stays shiny, nourished and manageable all day.
Ingredients:

Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum 2 Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum Review

How to use:

Work a small amount of serum in hands and apply evenly through damp hair. Blow dry or style as required. Can be re-applied throughout the day for added shine and frizz free hair.

Packaging:

It comes in a golden pump dispenser and I really love the look of it. The pump dispenses appropriate amount of serum each time.

Texture and fragrance:

The texture of this serum is really light, almost like water, and totally unlike the other serums I have used so far (read Livon and Silk n shine). The serum has a weird smell which puts me off, but thankfully the fragrance goes away within seconds of application. It spreads like a dream over wet hair, although I haven’t used it on dry hair yet.

My experience with Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum :

Remember I was asking about some hair spray suggestions in ASK IMBB a few days back? You all suggested me many good sprays, but unfortunately, this is a small town and none of those were available :( I spotted this serum a few days back at the shop and thought of trying this instead. Now, I have fine and thin hair which is oily at the roots and normal to dry towards the ends. so any serum or conditioners which claims “intensive” treatment for dry and damaged hair is a strict no-no for me as they weigh down my hair and make them look even more scanty and limp. I was a bit skeptical about using this serum as it claims the same. But boy! I was in for the biggest surprise!

Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum Review

I applied this after I had shampooed my hair and then went on to blow dry it. Believe me, my hair never felt better! I admit my hair is always silky, but after using this serum it transformed into total silk! I could not help running my hands through my hair over and over again! And the best part is, it remained that way the entire day. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. They were clicked beside an open window in natural daylight, no flash is used.

Pros of Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum :

1. Widely available.
2. Quite affordable for that quantity as only a pea sized amount is needed to cover mid length hair like mine.
3. Doesn’t contain silicones like other serums.
4. Totally lightweight.
5. Adds the perfect shine it claims.

Cons of Streax Perfect Shine Hair Serum :

The only con is the smell which lingers for a few seconds.

IMBB Rating:

30/5!!!!!!

You have good hair aparajita.. Your hair looks great even without the serum :)
only reason i use serum once in a week is it will weigh down the hair :( but this sounds good :) let me check

Lovely hair APARAJITA.. :)

BTW what’s the cut??

Reply

aparajita March 4, 2013 at 5:37 pm

thanks kanthi! :) believe me, i have no clue! my aunt took me to this newly opened salon and the hair dresser just asked me how exactly would i want my hair to be. i said “dont shorten it much, and i would love some volume”. he said he would give some volume layers from the mid length and a side bang on my forehead. i dnt know what exactly the cut is called, but i loved the effect :) n best part was that they charged me only 200 bucks for the cut which included shampooing too!:D

Heyy Aparajita ,

You wear glasses ? You look so different with glasses. :) Your hair is nice and no split ends. How do you manage to have hair without split ends. Please share the secret :)
