Suave Naturals Everlasting Sunshine Shampoo Review

Hi Beautifuls,

How are you doing? Today, I am here to share an affordable hair care product with all of you which belongs to my mum in law. It is Suave Naturals Everlasting Sunshine Shampoo. She has a love hate relationship with this shampoo. Please read on further to know about Suave Naturals Everlasting sunshine Shampoo.

Price:

$ 2.00 for 22.5 Fl Oz (654 ml), price may vary from store to store.

Ingredients:

Product Description:

Experience a burst of sunshine in the shower as gentle cleansers and conditioners bring out the natural beauty of your hair. Proven to smell as good as Bath and Body Works*(Compared to Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Shampoo and Conditioner).

Packaging:

This runny, slight off white-pale yellow colored shampoo comes in a family size, plastic bottle packaging.  I haven’t seen its travel size or economic packaging. I guess it’s only available in family size at our store. It has decent smell, like vanilla flavoured toffee. It seems to be a travel-friendly packaging as my mum in law is carrying it back to India :D

My Experience with Suave Naturals Everlasting Sunshine Shampoo:

Well, I got to know about this hair care brand through my mum in law. One of our relatives gifted her Suave Naturals Body care range earlier and since then she was keen to try other products from Suave. When she visited us here, she talked about her wish to get Suave first and since then she has been using Suave till date.  As per my mum-in-law, this pale yellow, slightly runny shampoo is just decent for her henna-treated hair, which gently cleanses her hair without over drying or making them frizzy unlike other dirt cheap shampoos. However, it does not cleanse oily scalp in one attempt.

Suave Naturals Everlasting Sunshine Shampoo 5

As she says, when she oils her hair, she needs at least two washes to get rid of the oil in her hair while on normal hair days, one wash is more than enough to cleanse the scalp and hair.  Even this shampoo gives a wavy bouncy effect to hair and this bouncy effect remains for 1-2 days.  I also tried it a couple of times when I was running short of my shampoo and I found it pretty okay for my frizzy hair as I noticed shiny and bouncy effect though I missed my Garnier’s heavenly smell and silky smooth shine; however, it seems a great deal for the price we paid for a bulky bottle :P

The smell reminds that of vanilla flavoured toffees which remains for good 1-2 hours. As my mum in law hairs are dandruff free hence we cannot comment about its effectiveness against dandruff however I feel it might not be good choice for dandruff as in my hubby’s case this shampoo did not worked fairly against dry rough dandruff. Over all I am also impressed by this shampoo though I am still hooked onto garnier.. :P According to my mum in law this is fairly priced decent shampoo for her henna treated hairs and she will definitely use this shampoo as long as the supply lasts.

Let’s sum up pros and cons:

Pros of Suave Naturals Everlasting Sunshine Shampoo:

  • Pale yellow colored, decent smelling shampoo.
  • Lathers well in just one attempt.
  • Gently cleanses scalp and hair without over drying or itching.
  • Makes hair soft, shiny and frizz free.
  • Suitable for normal hair.
  • Gives perfect wavy, bouncy effect to hair for at least 1-2 days.

Cons of Suave Naturals Everlasting Sunshine Shampoo :

  • It only comes in bulky packaging.
  • It might be ineffective against dandruff.

Well, she is a Suave fan and I am also impressed by Suave up to a great extent. Hence we both recommend this shampoo for normal hair.  However, if you are looking for an anti-dandruff shampoo, then this is not for you, sorry! Well for the price we paid, it is awesome and my mum in law is carrying it all the way to India now :P

Hope you like the review. See you soon with other goodies gals :)
