My Experience with Sugar Eye Told You So! Waterproof Eyeliner – Black Swan:

All the Sugar Cosmetics products come in cardboard packaging. The print on the box really looks classy. Actual liner comes in a long black container. Packaging is air tight and it looks glam.

packaging

It has a long wand with a lovely sponge applicator. The tip is really thin for precise application. It goes so smoothly and easily on eyes. This sponge applicator picks up the right amount of product and it gives a flawless, even finish with just one swipe. I can draw thin to thick line with this. It is the best applicator wand I have ever used. If you are afraid to use liquid liner, then try this one. This wand gives a controlled application and can create a very thin winged line. It never messes and it gives a clean application which I love most.

eyeliner

The liner comes in only one shade ‘01 Black Swan’. Like its name, it is a perfect jet black shade. Liner is very much pigmented and only one swipe is great for daily look. I need two swipes for a perfect bold line. It gives an amazing black finish with a matte texture. This shade looks so good and it looks very bold on eyes. There is no tugging during application.

wand

It’s not too thick or too runny in texture. It has a very smooth soft texture which easily glides on eyes. There are no shiny particles in it and is a perfect matte liner. It just takes few minutes to settle down to a lovely matte texture. It has a perfect consistency which never peels off. I am so happy to have it. It is smudge proof and it never fades away. The product claims that it is water proof. But I think it is not totally water proof. I mean it doesn’t go away with a splash of water, but it is not completely water proof.

I have pretty oily skin and I live in a very humid city. Still it stays for 6-7 hours perfectly; after that it fades away little bit from the inner corner. But the time is enough for daily use. The company claims it is a 24hr liner which is not true. But at this price, it’s really good. It looks little faded at the end of the day. But it never smudges at all.

eyeswatch

I really like its formula and also how it looks on me. It is a perfect liner for parties and also daily use. I am totally obsessed with this. This is the only liner which takes so much less time to create a winged eye. So it is totally worth a buy.

  1. Try sugar eye warned you so. It’s a better version of this. It does stay for 17 Hrs as it claims!
