My Experience with Sukin Antioxidant Eye Serum:

It comes in a small, dark glass container. It has a pump dispenser with a narrow opening. The container is dark so that it can keep the serum protected from sunlight. It has a light green label on the outer packaging which provides product description. I like the color scheme of this packaging as it feels very mild and caring. The pump dispenses a controlled amount of product through the narrow pump. With this, I do not see any wastage of the product. The pump dispenser is also very user-friendly. The dispenser can be opened or closed by twisting the pump clockwise or anticlockwise.

The serum is white in color and smells more like herbal oils. It has no added perfume and hence it has the smell of the natural ingredients. The texture of the serum is like that of condensed milk. This makes it very easy to spread around the sensitive eye area. I take a tiny amount of the product and dab it around my eye area with my ring finger. I use this product only in the night before going to bed. I do not believe in using skin care products like eye creams in the morning. I feel they get mixed up with foundation and concealer, hence fail to offer any benefits.

The serum provides kind of a cooling effect and gets absorbed by the skin within seconds. After it’s completely dried, my skin feels slightly tight. I have used aloe vera gel directly from the plant around my eye, and once the gel dried, it gave the same kind of effect. This serum has aloe vera extract as one of the main ingredients. I guess that’s why it delivers the same effect. I apply my night cream over this eye cream to make the area more supple.

I do not suffer from dark circles or wrinkles, but there are days when my eye area looks puffy. I would like to take better care of my skin and hence went for this serum. But I think I will not repurchase it as I have not seen any visible results. It does not prevent puffy eyes. I would rather use pure aloe vera extract directly under my eyes and then apply my night cream all over.
