My Experience with Sukin Oil Balancing Purifying Gel Cleanser:

Sukin is an organic brand and this cleanser comes is a dark tinted plastic bottle. The bottle has a pump dispenser on top. The dispenser functions really well and can be opened and closed by turning it clockwise/anticlockwise. It contains 125ml and this makes it very handy to travel with.

The cleanser is gel based and is grey in color. The gel is quite liquid and not very thick. The main ingredient is bamboo charcoal with extracts from chamomile, aloe vera and cucumber. The charcoal makes the gel grey in color. All the ingredients work great together in cleaning the skin. The fragrance feels more like freshly cut grass. It has no added perfume and hence the fragrance is basically the fragrance of the ingredients. According to me, it’s a very neutral smell and most of you would have nothing against it.

Nowadays we have seen a lot of charcoal based beauty products in the market. That is because charcoal absorbs all the impurities from the skin and leaves the skin clean. I take a small coin sized amount of the product and lather it on my wet face. I use a wipe to remove makeup before using the cleanser. The lather is slightly less when compared to other face washes but this does not trouble me. I finally wash off everything with warm water. My skin feels extremely clean after using this.

My skin is very sensitive and even a tiny change causes a breakout. After using this product I feel that my breakout has reduced considerably. One more thing to notice is that blackheads have also gradually reduced over time. Overall, it’s a great cleanser that delivers awesome results.
