Sunday Basics: Some bling and some pink

Hey girls, I’m back with another LOTD . :)  Sunday’s the only day I have off in the week so I use it to relax as much as I can – go out, shop or window-shop, eat at a nice place and avoid the massive power cuts that have been happening here! This Sunday I decided to wear this rather bling-y t-shirt that my mom got me on her trip to Bangkok, and pair it with simple accessories. I also tried my hand at an eyeshadow look but I couldn’t take proper pics of that, sorry . :(  Here’s my full LOTD –

white tee

Jeans and a t-shirt is one basic combination that can never go wrong, and can look great if accessorized. Since the tshirt is the focus of my outfit, I kept the rest of it casual and simple. I’ve worn a pink beaded necklace, simple antique gold bangles, my favorite ring (stainless steel with a pink stone set in) and dark pink beaded earrings.

I sometimes like wearing a different shade of nail polish on my fingernails and toes. I kept my footwear simple, with blue flip flops, and mint nails, and bright pink fingernails (Lakme Color Crush 21). My bag is a light cotton shopping bag that’s very convenient to carry around on a casual Sunday. The dampness in the house from the rain wreaked havoc on the bag and the handles though, something I’m sad about . :(

It rained a lot later that day and I was really comfy in this, with my jeans folded up about 2 inches. Monday is the worst, so I hope I added a bit of colour to your Monday!

Top: From a mall in Bangkok :P
Jeans: Kazo
Belt: Kazo
Flip-flops: Converse
Necklace: thrifted from Commercial Street, Bangalore
Ring: Lustz (brandmile.com)

The bag is from a quaint shop in Pondicherry that sells hand-made cloth and jute bags. I hope you liked this more casual, relaxed LOTD! ☺ xx
