My experience with the Sunsilk natural Recharge Shampoo

I don’t like to change my shampoo often as it causes a lot of hair fall on me. From years, I have been using the Dove shampoo and so far the experience was just average. I picked up this shampoo since it came with a paraben free formula and claimed to nourish and thicken hair up to 5 times. This is my first shampoo from Sunsilk.

The shampoo comes in a white with a hint of green colored bottle with green labeling. The bottle is completely opaque and comes with a flip lock cap. The opaque packaging makes it difficult to know how much of the product is left in the bottle over a period of usage. But all the shampoos come in opaque packaging. The bottle is light weight and the cap shuts perfectly without any product leakage. It comes with a travel friendly packaging.

The shampoo is white in color with very fine shimmer particles. It has a very pleasing mild fragrance. The fragrance just goes away after hair wash and doesn’t cling to your hair. I really liked it comes with a mild smell. The shampoo is quite thick and gel like in consistency. It is completely free from any granules. I really dint have any high hopes that this shampoo will give me 5 times stronger hair but all I wanted is clean, nourished hair with a slight difference to my hair breakage condition. I mixed it with water at the time of application of the shampoo, it is so strange that it doesn’t work lather at all. I had to use a lot of product to get at least some lather, I really found a lot of product wastage.

It did clean my hair well and gave me a clean feeling. I tested this shampoo without any conditioner to know the exact results. This shampoo is hydrating, it does not dry hair completely. The claim of the shampoo to nourish hair is true but to provide 5 times stronger and fuller hair is just a claim. The shampoo comes with Ginseng root oil, I researched and found that the plant helps a lot in controlling hair fall and balding. I did not notice any difference at all. It did not increase hair volume, control breakage nor thicken hair. I had the same hair condition like before.

Pros of the Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo

• Travel friendly packaging
• Price – It is affordable
• Paraben free formula
• It doesn’t dry my hair
• It has a very pleasant mild fragrance.

Cons of the Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo

• It did not work in enhancing hair volume, thicken hair as it claims.
• It doesn’t lather.

IMBB rating

2/5

Will I repurchase and do I recommend the Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo?

This bottle is almost over and I will not be repurchasing it again. It cleans hair without making it dry. It doesn’t work on enhancing volume or thicken hair as it claims. I seriously dint find anything great apart from the paraben free formula. I really don’t recommend it to anyone.
