Superdrug De-stressing Mud Mask Review

I am back with another review of face mask from Super drug. I am in love with sachet masks these days. There is a wide range of masks available in the market but I believe sometimes it’s not convenient to carry a tube mask with you and then these little sachet masks comes to the rescue. There are very few brands that provide wide range of sachet masks. My favourite are Montagne Jeunesse and Superdrug. I have reviewed two Superdrug face mask earlier here and here. Out of the two, Superdrug super fruits exfoliating mask was really good and another was disappointing. Last week I tried De–stressing Mud Mask from Superdrug. So, today that is what I am reviewing today.

My Experience with Superdrug De-stressing Mud Mask:

Superdrug De-stressing Mud Mask comes in the standard sachet pack. The colour of this face mask isn’t as green as it makes out on the cover – it’s more of light aqua colour. It says it is suitable for normal to combination skin.

The mask is thick and heavy in consistency like any other mud mask. It spreads easily on the skin. The fragrance is really good and refreshing. It’s like herbal fusion of avocados and aloe vera. The moment you apply it, its aroma calm your senses and you feel relaxed.

I applied it generously all over the face and on my neck. When on the skin at first it feels slightly cooling which is something I love. It helps to soothe and calm the skin. It’s good to mention that this is actually a setting mask so when you’re sporting it, it will harden and your skin will start to feel tight. I let it dry for 10-15 minutes and wash off with normal water (not with warm water as mentioned). Unlike most hardening face masks, this was really easy to get off and my face felt so smooth. I was very impressed.

The nice fragrance stays for few minutes even after washing off. My skin felt soft and clean. I could feel that it does soak up oil and dirt from my face. Usually mud mask dry out the skin but it was not the case with this mask. My skin was feeling tighter than before and there was no stretchy feeling. I didn’t experience a tingling sensation with this face mask or any redness after use. This is the second best Superdrug mask I have tried. Superdrug super fruits exfoliating mask still tops my list.

I will repurchase this particular mask as it really lives up to its claims.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Superdrug De-stressing Mud Mask?
Yes, I am impressed by this mask. It didn’t dry out my skin and the fresh fragrance did lift up my dull mood.
