Superdrug Superfruits Exfoliating Mask Review

Hi all lovely IMBBians!!!

How are you all? I guess there is a built-in function in all of us no matter wherever we go; we try to collect every possible beauty product that catches our eye. If the destination is abroad we really get confused what to get and what to spare. Things become tough when you have luggage weight constraint. I did some last minute shopping at the London airport on the way back to India. It was a memorable shopping haul as I did it one hour before boarding the plane. Crazy me.

Superdrug Superfruits Exfoliating Mask

I picked up some masks from Superdrug. After trying a whole lot of Montagne Jeunesse masks, I was excited to try Superdrug masks. They have a variety of masks for all skin types. Let’s see whether the Superdrug mask lives up to my expectation or not…

Product Description:
Raspberry, Cranberry and Blueberry Fruit extracts deeply purifies pores and smoothes skin.

My Experience with Superdrug Superfruits Exfoliating Mask:

This particular mask caught my attention because of the ingredients, raspberry, cranberry and blueberry, what not…full of berries. It sounded quiet fruity to me. An exfoliating mask is all we need when we want to give our skin a quick clean up. I have really bad experience with exfoliating masks in the past. But it never stopped me from trying something new.

The Superdrug Superfruits exfoliating mask comes in a purple and lilac colour sachet packet. The mask is light purple, lilac in colour with thick consistency. Yet it is easy to spread over the face. It smells like fresh berries. I really stopped myself from eating it up. I could feel the strawberry seeds as exfoliating particles when I was applying the mask. As it is a clay based mask it really tightens the skin. After 15 minutes, I rubbed it with wet fingers and removed it by gently exfoliating my face. I would like to add here that the exfoliating particles are little harsh .So, if you like mild exfoliation, maybe this is not for you.

Talking about the result, it left my skin soft and smooth. The pores were really cleaned up and it helped to remove blackheads from my skin. It didn’t dry out my skin. There was a fresh feeling on my skin and yes it stayed for 2-3 days. It didn’t add any glow to my face just clear smooth skin. Still, I am really in love with this mask. This is the first exfoliating mask that suited me well. The smell is really fresh and so tempting. It lingers around for a while after washing off.

  1. An exfoliating mask sounds good! Good to know that it does not dry out the skin. Superdrug is very aptly named, huh?
