T-Zone Nose Pore Strips: Instant Fix for Blackheads

What the product claims- The T-Zone Maximum Action Nose Pore Strips unclog blocked pores and clears out blackheads. The powerful formula gives you instantly clearer, smoother skin and helps prevent spots.

How to Use T-Zone Nose Pore Strips: you need to clean your face and pat it dry. Then slightly wet your nose, peel the backing off the strip and press it gently on the area. Here I must add that the shape of the strip is so ergonomic that it fits perfectly on the nose. Leave it now for 10 minutes or so until it hardens. It will become stiff and then you need to pull it out from the edge. Pull it out with medium force. If you find it extremely painful then moisten it slightly.

My Experience with T-Zone Nose Pore Strips

I have used this twice in the last month and it’s been effective. It not only pulls of blackheads but even those tiny hairs. My nose was so clean and smooth that my husband asked me what I had done… 🙂 I find that using it fortnightly is sufficient.

Ingredients: VP/VA Copolymer, Polyvinyl alcohol, Aqua, propylene glycol, glycerine, kaolin, Bentonite, Witch hazel extract, tea tree oil, alcohol denat, propylparaben, mel, limonene, ethylparaben.

A little info about the natural ingredients used in the strip-
1. Manuka Honey – its antibacterial, and actively soothes and cares for your skin, prevents spots
2. Tea Tree oil – Anti microbial and anti-inflammatory, purifies and reduces spots
3. Witch hazel – reduces the appearance of blemishes, removes excess oil and tightens pores.
4. Kaolin (that’s good old clay) – it pulls out and absorbs the excess oil

Price: £4 for a pack of 6 strips

Pros of T-Zone Nose Pore Strips

– Anti bacterial
– Has Manuka honey and tea tree
– Dermatologically tested
– No mess, so easy to use

Cons of T-Zone Nose Pore Strips

– The price: I remember buying nose strips in India for a much cheaper price.
– Can be painful if you have sensitive skin

Tip: If you exfoliate before using the strip, it is more effective. The first time I used it as is. The second time I exfoliated the region and then later used the strip. The results were more smoother and clearer skin.

Caution: If you have very sensitive skin, then these might not be suitable for you. Because when u peel them off the skin might get irritated and break out.
Overall verdict – I will surely buy it again as it is effective. I used two in a month so a box will last me 3 months. Not bad.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5. (Deducted half point for the price because I have purchased a similar product for quite a less price in India)

  1. ummmm….sounds really nice Dee. But are these available in India….I have surely seen other brands for nose strips….but don’t remember seeing this! ?:)

    1. Hey Jinal…this particular one may not be available. But like you said other brands are there. A few years back I had brought some nose strips in India..do not remember the brand name now though 😐 But i do remember them being priced quite reasonable. I had got a pack of 4 or 5 for 100 bucks from Ratnadeep (in Hyderabad)

      1. Ohh I see. I have used other brands but they were not quite effective thats y I asked. :))
Thank for the info sweetie…. O:)

    1. Hi Jiya

Ponds has these strips I guess.
Just checked on IMBB and GIA has reviewed this one – Cettua Silky & Clear–Charcoal Nose Strip

      check her review…its good.
and 6 strips for Rs 85…what a bargain.

  3. Lol I can never bring myself to use a nose strip! I had mischievously used an old Johnson’s strip, mom’s,when I was a kid, obviously without her knowledge and pulled it the wrong way and dayyumm!!! I had bruised my nose skin real bad! I promised myself that day that no matter how bad my blackheads may get when i grow up, I’ll never use strips! hehe filmy end  but that’ the truth, I voluntarily chickened out :chewnails

  4. Do we get it in US? Or someone suggest a good one thats available in US. I so wanna try it. I’ve tried it once in my lifetime before. Thats the Ponds one. It was ok. I didn’t had much of blackheads that time but now my face has more adamant ones:-/

  5. Sounds really cool but u know Dee….i hav heard dat using these strips can make ur nose tip more prone to blackheads 🙁 though they show instant results, its not good for the long run! u know anything lik dat???????? BTW…nice review :waytogo:

    1. Not sure Somreeta about that..I have used them earlier too a few years back..it didnt increase the blackheads though.. And even now – i do not notice any increase in blackheads..skin remains cleaner and smoother for atleast 10 days after i use the strip.

I do not have lots anyway…one or two here and there…and very very tiny hair…these strips remove everything…you can actully see the hair come out with the root… i tried to zoom and take a pic of an used strip but the pics are getting blurred…

    1. Thanks for the video… never knew you could make these at home…But the lady’s nose has turned pink after she peeled off the strip ….i wouldnt want a red nose like that…until now these ready made nose strips havent irritated or bruised the skin on my nose…so will stick to them for time being.
:thanks: for the video link though…has given me an idea to turn this into a peel off face mask

  6. dee i recently picked up biore pore strips. before that i used to get my black heads removed at the salon. i kinda know the importance of these strips now. 🙂 I will take your exfoliation tip before applying these strips. Thanks. 🙂 I will keep a note of these ones as well. 🙂

    1. Yes… I saw that in your Haul post. While I was viewing the pics itself..i though what a coincidence – I had the review written and ready to send to you and you had brought Biore strips
      :yahoo:

  7. Thanks Dee. very useful post for those who have blackheads. I wish there were similar strips for whiteheads. I did read Somreeta’s post on whiteheads so Thanks Somreeta for that. should definitely try the oats scrub.

I just got a fruit facial done over this weekend and dont think it helps much for oily/combination skin :headbang: :headbang: . Maybe I was being cheap and got a 400 bucks facial done. :hihi: The lady did suggest a pearl facial but i was pretty adamant..thot she was chumma trying to get me to get something expensive done :silly:

    1. they always do that na. you go to a salon and then they start telling you “10 things you must get done in this salon. ” 😆 😆 😆 😆

      1. ya exactly..and this one is in my bldg so i thot if it works nothing like it but..anyways maybe I shall stick to face packs and face scrubs for a while 🙂

  8. I got these too from uk

  9. God! I’ve been so out of touch!!! Totally missed this review, great writing Miss Dee 🙂 Rati, you mentioned you picked these strips up recently too, wherever from? On your travels abroad or somewhere in India? Please enlighten, I’m dying to try them!! Thanks!
