I have used Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Pink Parafait before (review HERE) but this range has such awesome selection of colors that I had to pick atleast one bright shade for myself.

Raspberry 56 was an instant love. It is a cool toned hot pink color with slightly blue/ purple undertones. I applied it and one swipe of color was super pigmented. And the color instantly made my tired looking face look fresh. I had never been so comfortable wearing such a bright color but this one is one shade that i just can’t stop myself from wearing everyday now. :p

Texture wise both pink parafait and Raspberry are the same. I’d wrap it up quickly for you.

• Superbly pigmented. One swipe of color is all your need to get the full coverage.
• It is very creamy so if you apply a lot of it, it tends to settle in your fine lines. I suggest that you apply it and blot it. Thiss ay it worked better for me than applying on its own. I also suggest that you go easy with a gloss on top of it. It was moving a bit around the edges of my lips when I applied gloss on top of it. If you still just HAVE to apply the gloss, I suggest that you take the gloss on the tip of your index finger and dab it just on the centre of your lower lip.
• StayIng Power : 8+ hours. Amazing staying power. The color tends to fade after 4 hours but the stain stays evenly on lips. It’s awesome. In fact I find it difficult to remove at night. it does not come off with a cleansing milk. You have to use an eye and lip makeup remover to get rid of it completely from your lips.
• It feels light on lips, gives a nice creamy look to lips for around 3-4 hours and it is comfortable to wear. it is not overly moisturizing or overly drying. I would still suggest that you wear a lip balm underneath.
• Has slight fruity fragrance but no taste.
• Does not bleed or smear. It stays where it is meant to stay.
• This also becomes almost 80% transfer proof after 8-10 minutes of application.
• Unfortunately I didn’t find this shade listed on Estee Lauder’s website.

What I like about Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara

This mascara is an extension of Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Mascara. Read review HERE

• This is by far the blackest mascara I have tried. It’s super super super black.
• It does not clump . Even after 2-3 coats you don’t see the tiny bits of mascara on the tips of your lashes.
• Stays on all day long and hold the curl pretty well.
• It gives a super thickening effect to lashes . If you have sparse lashes , this one is a great pick. This almost gives that false lashes effect, without you actually wearing false lashes.
• The brush design  is such that it coats every single bit of lash.
• this does not dry super last. It takes good 15-20 seconds for it to dry so you can layer up your mascara. And it would never clump.
• Does not feel heavy or weigh down your lashes.
• The formula is fantastic. It is between liquid and cream so it does not feel too wet or dry.
• It does not say if it is water proof or water resistant but even when I am roaming out in the sun, it never smudges or smears.
• Does not make your lashes hard as the day passes by.
• It removes easily with an eye makeup remover or baby oil.

The shape of the brush is such that it reaches  to the very inner lashes as well. Bristles are such that they help in giving that thickening effect to lashes.

The Not so good things about Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara

• Those with smaller eyes might find it difficult to use as the wand is pretty long and big.
• Price is a little steep.

This is my eye without any mascara

And these are my lashes – lush and coming full to life. I especially love to wear this mascara during evening because with very coat it makes your eyes look gorgeous and more gorgeous.

Overall I totally love this mascara. Estee Lauder never fails to impress when it comes to mascaras. I have bene using their mascaras for almost year and a half now and I would always purchase them.  I just feel that they make non waterproof versions better than the water proofs ones. Waterproof ones become quite difficult to remove and I don’t like to do a tug of war with my lashes every day.

If you want very natural looking lashes- go for Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold. If you want dramatic volumised lashes, go for Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme.

Estee Lauder Artist’s Eye Pencil in Soft Smudge Black

Like the Estee Lauder Artist’s Lip Pencil even this Eye Pencil came with an Estee Lauder kit. I have many black eye pencils and this was just added on to the collection. Ok, now I am not boasting here, I am just reminding myself that it is time to try more colors in eye pencils. As the name suggests this is just a soft black and not something that is very bold or dark.

The Estee Lauder eye pencil comes in a sleek dark blue packaging with a gold lid. This eye pencil usually comes with a smudger brush but the one I have does not have a brush, might be because it came in a kit. From the name I thought I can smudge this one and use for a smokey eye look but lol no, it is just the name of the shade and nothing to do with the effect. This eye pencil is completely smudge proof but on applying a thick line gives a smudged effect. I feel this makes the work simple ;)

I use it on my upper lash line, lower lash line and also my water line, it does not sting at all and does not smudge until I wipe it to remove it. Also I prefer to use it on my upper lash line as it does not give a great effect on lower lash or water line. I expect a very bold black for my lower lash line and water line so this one does not serve the purpose. I doubt that whether these pencils are meant only for the upper lash line. I am not very sure about it.

The eye pencil costs $19 / Rs 1260

Pros

• Does not smudge at all.
• If you want a light black color on your eyes then this is the one for you.
• Easily glides on the eyes.
• Does not sting.
• Comes with a brush when bought individually.
• Layering it gives a good smokey eye look and reduces the effort of smudging ;)

Cons

• Just 3 shades to choose from.
• Very expensive.
• I don’t prefer such soft color so not a favourite for me.
• Availability.

My Rating – 3/5

Would I Repurchase – Though it is a good eye pencil this one is not for me. I love super dark black for my eyes always.

I was given Pure Colour Lipstick by Estee Lauder in Sugar Honey shade as a gift.

I must say that it is a great gift; I have really enjoyed this lipstick. This lip colour lasts longer than most other lipsticks, plus it feels soft and light on the lips. Sugar Honey also happens to be a flattering shade. Sugar honey is a rosy beige shade. Very flattering on Indian skin tones like mine.

It is very light and airy and very moisturising. You absolutely need no lip balm underneath it. And it lasts a long 3 hours atleast.priced at 5 dollars it is very appropriate for its price. I received this as a gift from my masi and I think everyone should have one estee lauder pure color lipstick because of its great texture and the sheen to it. Also the texture is very very soft. One of the softest textured lipsticks I have ever used. It almost feels like it is going to break when I apply it on. Estee Lauder does mostly understated sober corporate sort of colours. They are best at their range of pinks.the very prominent gold shimmer in it adds luminosity to it as you can see in the picture with the flash. Although this is a very flattering shade for us with warm undertones, I think it will better suit people with pale lips who just need a very slight hint of colour.

More of a spring summer colour. The colour is very subtle; it does not hit me in the mirror even when I look at it again and again. Opposite to the name these are not very boldly pigmented lipsticks. This colour particularly is something which we all must have in our vanity. Something you always pick up when you are bored with pink and gives a moisture boost. Gorgeous shade and smells really good.

Good about Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick Sugar Honey

• Moisturising even for the driest lips
• Slight golden shimmer, great flash effect
• Something for a change from the pinks
• Good price
• Lovely packaging for the actual one(as I got this free and as a gift)

• Essential for Indian skin tones

Bad about Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick Sugar Honey

• Not long lasting. About 3 hours and fades leaving moisture
• Availability in India

Estee Lauder Magnascopic Mascara was the first ever high end mascara I purchased. For some reason I never reviewed the first time I tried it and this time also I have almost finished using it.

What I like about Estee Lauder Magnascopic Mascara:

• The brush. It’s a fantastic brush, it curls your lashes, separates them and picks up just the right amount of product. The brush is designed in a way that it reaches even to the very inner corner of your eyes.

• Both the time I have used this mascara, I have used it in shade 01 Black. It’s not a super black mascara so it’s a great wear for day time. For night time just add a few more coats and you wouldn’t feel the need to wear fake lashes,
• It doesn’t move the whole day infact, until you remove it. You apply it in the morning and you are sorted for the whole day.
• It makes my lashes look thicker , fuller and longer.
• The mascara doesn’t clump. I have been using this tube for almost 5 months now and the mascara has started to dry a little but it barely clumps. The mascara claims a life of 6 months after you start using it and really, the mascara stays in pretty good condition for 5-6 months.
• It doesn’t smudge or smear.
• It doesn’t harden your lashes and doesn’t feel heavy on your lashes at all.
• It has never irritated my eyes.
• It dries within seconds so you don’t have to wait for your lashes to dry,
• You don’t have to tug and pull your lashes to take it off. It comes off easily with an oil based cleanser. I have never seen my lashes breaking while removing this mascara.

What I don’t like about Estee Lauder Magnascopic Mascara:

• If you are looking for a super dooper black mascara, this may not be a great option.
• The claims of 300% thicker lashes is quite huge.
• It doesn’t separate my lashes as much as I’d like it to. Especially the upper lashes tend to stick to each other.

After : Please note that the mascara is almost 5 months old and in a little dry state but this would give you little idea about its natural and no-clumps effect.

This mascara was my birthday gift by Estee Lauder and I was not asked to review it.

Estee Lauder High Gloss Ultra Brilliance Lip gloss – Jewel 06

This was a small gift set from Estee Lauder that had other make up items along with the High Gloss Ultra Brillance Lip Gloss in Jewel. My sis gifted this to me and me a lip gloss fanatic could not hold back and started using it the very next day. The lip gloss comes in a tiny little tube and the gloss looks like a dark brownish purple colour with golden glitters in it. Since I love glitters as well I was more than usually restless that I was using this gloss even at home.

The gloss is not very sticky and thus it does not stay for more than 2 hrs. I got used to applying the gloss again and again. The colour pay off is not so good. I don’t expect dark purple lips but at least some colour on my lips would have been better. This gloss is almost nude on my lips and thus looks like I have applied a transparent gloss. Initially I thought the problem is with the gloss but no. This is not the right shade for me. My mum who has pink lips tried this on and the colour shows well on her lips, so I came to a conclusion that this is not the right shade for me. Other than that this is a normal gloss. If I apply 3-4 coats then I can see the colour my lips but then it looks like I drank some pepsi or coke that is still sticking on to my lips.

I couldn’t find any shimmer on my lips after application. It is just a plain gloss but shows shimmer only in the tube and little bit in the swatch!!!!!! I kept staring at my lips to notice the glitter but all in vain. Has anyone noticed anything of this sort before or is it just me who is facing this? Since I keep applying coat over coat, this tube would not last long. It has a mild vanilla fragrance and also tastes sweet ;) Trust me I don’t lick my gloss but little went inside by accident.

I am not aware of the price as this one came in a kit with other products and also it was a gift.

Pros of Estee Lauder High Gloss Ultra Brilliance Lip gloss

• Does not crease or settle in the lines.
• Spreads evenly.
• Tube is small and thus can be carried around easily.

• Easy to apply.

• Does not stay for a long time.
• No glitters seen after application.
• Looks like a transparent gloss on my lips [Con for me as it does not suit me]

Estee Lauder Pure Color Lip Gloss in Passion Berry is a sheer shimmery berry pink lip gloss. There are multi coloured flecks of shimmer in it. The shimmer is non gritty and does not fade weirdly or travel around your lips after a few hours. I found this particular shade slightly sticky unlike a few other glosses I have tried from EL
