My Experience with Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector:

Packaging:
Small, sleek and very travel friendly. The corrector comes in a small and flat square case with a flip top. Easy to slip into your purse for touch-ups. There is no mirror or applicator provided.

Texture/Consistency, Application & Pigmentation:
This is a super creamy corrector, a little too creamy for me. The creamy texture makes it very easy to apply and blend, and you can use just your finger tips for it. The creaminess might be a plus for those with dry under eye area. For someone with oily eye area, like mine, this formula is too emollient and prone to creasing in fine lines. It is imperative to set this with a powder immediately.

I mainly use it for my dark under eyes and the peachy undertone of this corrector counteracts the purple tinge and makes the area appear so much brighter and well rested. It looks very natural and does not feel heavy or makeup-like on the skin.

It is highly pigmented, hence it can replace your concealer too if you are someone with little to mild discoloration. I use just this corrector on an everyday basis, but for special occasions where I need more coverage, I top it with a concealer too. Since it is so pigmented you only need the thinnest layer. If you apply heavily, it has a tendency to cake up.

Finish:
This corrector on its own has a satiny finish, but since I always set it with powder I mostly get this to a matte finish which is what I prefer for my under eyes.

Shade:
This corrector comes in 2 variants Light/Medium and Medium/Tan. I find that Light/Medium works really well with my skin tone (MAC NW22).

Staying Power:
I love how this corrector stays put all day which is around 7-8 hours for me. If the weather is especially hot or humid, my under eye area starts to get shiny around 5-6 hours into wear. This is when a slight dusting of powder is required, but in indoor environment, I rarely need to do any touch ups.

Overall:
I really like this corrector, but I still prefer my It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Corrector Concentrate Cream over this because it has the right amount of emollient texture which works really well with my oily eye area. This particular Tarte corrector is too creamy and emollient for me but it can still be worked with provided you always use a setting powder. But, other than that, I really like how pigmented it is and how well it covers my dark circles with a few taps of my fingertips and makes me looks fresh and put together. I will not recommend this to those with a lot of fine lines around the eyes, but for everyone else looking for a nice corrector in the market, this is a good option to try.

Cons of Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector:
