Hi, Recently I have read a lot about the body shop products and being a person who likes to use products made of natural ingredients I was totally attracted by it. I even spotted its newly opened shop in one the malls near my place.

I wanted to buy few basic things to begin with so I picked up one of the lip balm’s. I have tried the usual flavor/scented balms like orange, strawberry etc. So wanted to pick something different and got the “Watermelon” lip balm as I love them.

Before purchasing it I didn’t use the tester coz I didn’t feel good about it hygienically. When I used it for the first time I loved the fragrance of it. It was totally natural and very close to original fragrance but when I licked my lips I was disappointed as the flavor was not at all good and I just wanted to remove it !!! It tasted like a bitter sugar like the way sugar free tastes…bitter bitter. :spank: :spank: It’s colorless which I liked.

Just to get rid off it’s taste I had a glass of water and with every sip I got the taste of balm which was making me very unhappy with my purchase. :-/ :-/ :scream:
Then finally with the thought of making use of this lip balm I use it in the night before sleeping and now I’m use to the taste of it as well.

Price: 205 for 10ml.

Shelf life: Two years and eleven months.

-very moisturizing balm. I use it as night balm n it makes my lip very soft and smooth in morning.
-Fragrance. Ooh I love it like anything.(on this basis I bought it) :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool:
-adds little shine to lips when applied but goes away in a while.
-not at all sticky. Totally smooth and light on lips.
-easily available (I guess)
-easy to carry around.
-have complete ingredient list.

Cons of The Body Shop Born Lippy Watermelon Lip Balm Review

-TASTE. It’s not at all good.
-No SPF. So won’t be good for day use.
-tub packing. So not a good idea to use while traviling.
-doesn’t last for long. Max 2-3 hrs.
-price.
- not a sturdy packaging if I compare it to lotus herbal tubs.

Will I recommended it : NO nor will I repurchase. Reason mostly being the taste. :struggle: :struggle: :waiting: :waiting:
