The Body Shop Cheek and Face Powder – Berry

Berry is pink shade compact with bronzy touch to it. It’s not pink -pink, it has a warm glow and would look pwetty on women if colour.

“Gorgeous ”

  • Pigment- Strong
  • Shiny- not glittery. These have high shine to them.
  • Soft to touch
  • Easily blendable
  • Texture- smooth
  • Price- damn! worth it.

The only thing that you would have to careful with these is that these might break easily. These are super soft to touch. Also, I don’t know why do they call it a face powder. These are so pigmented that they are best when applied as blush. Chestnut might be applied all over the face if you apply it with a very light hand but not Berry.

You can even use the individual shades especially for eyes, imo.

I have not seen something as gorgeous as these. The Body Shop –

    1. Boatload of emotions. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

The pink tester was a little weird. But yeah these are soft and precious.

Note * Handle them with care. πŸ˜›

No berry would rock on your (in between Miss Hayek and Padmalakshmi) skintone . πŸ˜›

        1. Are you supposed to pick patches of colour or just swirl all over and then pick up colour..or do either way as it suits??? Ohhhh ohhhh..me dying to get these…dying dying..hate you…

          1. Well..to tell you the truth..for the puppy faces just about barely work only for food…with makeup..nothing works..except my own precious debit card πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

  2. wowoowowoowoowowoowowowoowowowowowowowowowowoowowowowoowow :chic: :chic: :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

  3. hi rati

wow they r sooooooo pretty…the chestnut is awesome!!!

the copper swatch kinda reminds me of malaika arora khan!!!dunno Y?!! ?:-)

i discovered your blog a few days back n totally hooked… :inlove:

    awesome work!!! cheers… :-))

  4. yay!!! finally a reply!!!

i think i was posting comments on the wrong articles i.e ones which r closed!!! :silly:

n i waited n waited n waited for ans to my query!!!
    :waiting:

  5. You close comments on older articles, Rati…how horrible….heyyy we protest…we need freedom to comment on all articles…protest protest…err….tea overload.. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

  6. Hehehehee…I will tell you what, Rati. You are a friend, and I neeeed to help friends..so just for that..I shall accept your dumb-looking Nars blush..and you go buy this one. Okayyy..that makes you feel much better? Sighh..I am such an angel O:-) O:-)

    1. Yeah we can do an exchange thingy- you give me your chanel blush and take nars..And since you are such an angel, you would silently include a rouge coco also. Hai na hai na…

          1. Oh I am totally liking it. So bloody pigmented. Just one swipe of colour is good for both the cheeks. And you know the brush that you were complaining about the earlier blushes, I think they are improved now. Not the softest ones around but not scratchy either.

            Why you not liking?

            1. My friend keeps telling me she sees no colour :-(( :-(( The guy at Lancome told me though that’s how it should be…people shouldn’t be able to “see” colour :-(( :-((

              1. I didnt buy the new ones though..ya I saw the brushes were better…i will give you my broom brush and you give me the new ones..hehehehee. I didnt get the new ones cos wowwww…could i see see see the colour or what..hehehehe..didnt like them when I tried them.

                1. That’s a very very soft colour. You’d have to layer it to make it show. But it’s a pretty colour indeed.

If you have a cream blush may be you could blend that first on your cheeks and then apply this blush.

                2. oh Rati exchange offer gng on here!!! Wooow I have only colorbar blush to exchange…i dont mind taking either Nars of this one or chanel in exchange of that πŸ˜€

          1. Wish she decides to do the video tutorial, I’ll sneak in her video , irritate her and try to take more footage. photo tutorial is a bad idea. Yay to video tute.

  7. damnit, its in post’s like this that u think tht dupes just wont do, and u crave for the real one :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( sooooooooooooo badly. I wannnnntt that Berryyyyy :giggle:

  8. this is not good!!and sooo not fair!!! :pain: πŸ™ πŸ™ i sooooo want both the colours!! :-(( :-(( :-(( and no amount of puppy faces will get me these after the recent haul that i did!!why oh why these didn’t come in when i still had my budget in place!!
    .-= sree´s last blog ..crushed flowers =-.

  9. welll… the chestnut one is toooooooooo gud to resist…..
    i already hav 2 bronzers..tht too,dont use them tooo often..still i want tht chestnut.. πŸ˜• :dazed: :hypnotized:

      1. Can’t decide…they aren’t super soft you know..and they are superexpensive! Had asked my non-fav SA how much they cost and she very disinterestedly informed around 3000..I was like for which one..she was like they all cost around that much. I got so irritated..never bothered looking at them…she was acting so high and mighty – or maybe she was just new and unsure πŸ˜€ But anywayss..I read somewhere that their blush one at least..is non not super-soft cos thats the correct texture (?) to pick up their not super-soft blushes πŸ˜› Never know..some Chanel-crazy person might have come up with that excuse though!!!

        1. he he …guess you must pick up brushes from MAC atleast. They are pretty good and cost you way less. πŸ™‚

I know sometimes these luxury brand SAs behave as if they own the brand. Wonder what makes them think that.

          1. No idea..my usual SA is so sweet. Actually na..last time when I was trying the blushes, she used that brush only..and I was thinking wowww…that surely does grab the colour big time! I wanted to check out the EL brushes too..are they good..more importantly are they available in India?

            1. ummmm….didn’t like the estee lauder brushes too much. or may be because I have seen only the tester brushes.

the body shop also has some good brushes. they are synthetic brushes so they are super duper soft. πŸ™‚

    1. Synthetic brushes are softer than the natural bristles ones. But most mac brushes are of natural hair and they are super soft. They take care of the quality…

If you are checking estee lauder, check the new brushes. Sometimes the tester brushes don’t give you a real picture.

      1. Ya I will check…but I am definitely definitely thinking MAC is the best…those brushes in that video…they looked so good..err…hehehee..that could be because she knows how to use them too.

    1. Oh OC ur are πŸ˜‰ but maybe ur surrounded by sooo many high-end brands that u might be missing ur old friend colorbar na πŸ™‚

    1. Priya , these are like MAC skin finish naturals. They give a highlighted kind of a look to cheeks.

And the berry one reminds me so much of the petticoat from In the groove collection.

  10. Look absolutely yummy both of them.

Am slightly confused bout how to use them though …
the small leaves, if I want them on my cheeks then how do I get it on my brush ? the thing is so tiny and the cheek brushes are kinda big ??
