Today I will be writing about another lipstick from TBS. I am not sure that why I got so many lipsticks from them but I guess as they were on discount I just bought them without thinking much. The one I will be talking about today is one of their colorglide shine lip color (as far as I know) and the shade I have is called Cheeky Coral.
Product quantity: 3.5g
Price: Rs. 995 (but I brought this at 50% discount)
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a metallic packaging with a copper colored inner section. The lipstick has a little sticker which mentions the number of the lipstick, but no name is mentioned anywhere. In fact nothing is mentioned on the lipstick except the brand name and the number.
Ingredients: No list of ingredients is mentioned on the lipstick

My take on The Body Shop Colorglide Shine Lip Color – Cheeky Coral
Color: The Company says that these are a sheer lip colors that give a glaze of shine to the lips. Cheeky coral fits completely in this definition. It is a very sheer color with a touch of coral. The glaze it imparts to the lips is due to the minute sized shimmery golden particles. It is a frosty looking color but as it is very sheer it doesn’t look bad and is really easy to use for everyday purpose. The color can also be used over a darker lip color to give it a golden glazy look.
Pigmentation: The color is sheer and if compared to sheer colors, it is pretty decent in pigmentation. One swipe is sufficient to get the color, but multiple swipes can also be used to build up the color. Although multiple swipes won’t make the color dark, but it can definitely add to the glaze.
Texture: The lipstick is very smooth to apply. It glides on easily on the lips without much effort. It is very moisturizing too. No lip balm is required under this. The problem I have with this is that this color settles in the fine lines in the lips. As the color is sheer, it doesn’t look too bad, but it does settle in fine lines.
Staying Power: this is another point which I am not very pleased about. The staying power of the lip color is really low. It do not stand even a little meal, it actually goes off the lips in just 2 hours even if you don’t have anything. Usually in lip colors with shimmers, shimmer particles remains on the lips even after the color is gone, but in this case even the golden shimmer particles vanishes in a very less time.
One more thing I did not like in this was the fragrance. I do like light scented products but the scent this has is a little weird. I am not sure about how does it smell like, but personally I did not it. Thankfully the scent is not too strong and cannot be felt after application.

• Nice everyday color
• Very smooth to apply
• Moisturizing (can be used in place of a lip balm)
• Good pigmentation for an everyday color
Cons of The Body Shop Colorglide Shine Lip Color – Cheeky Coral
• Pricy for a sheer lip product (I would have not brought it for full price)
• Poor staying power
• I did not like the fragrance
• No information on the lipstick, it does not even have the name
Would I buy The Body Shop Colorglide Shine Lip Color – Cheeky Coral again?
No! it’s too pricey (especially for a sheer color).
Do I recommend The Body Shop Colorglide Shine Lip Color – Cheeky Coral?
If you can get it on a high discount and you like sheer frosty looking colors, then you can buy this, otherwise I won’t recommend this.
