01 Sheer Lychee : This is a nudish peachy colour and has golden shimmer to it. Super pretty, especially for people with fair complexion. 01 Sheer Lychee The Body Shop Delipscious Photos and Swatches 02 Sheer Toffee: It’s a soft Brown/ Caramel shade. No shimmer. Very wearable colour and would look beautiful on most skin tones. 02 Sheer Toffee The Body Shop Delipscious Photos and Swatches 04 Sheer Candy : Nudish Pink Colour. 04 Sheer Candy The Body Shop Delipscious Photos and Swatches 05 – Sheer Elderberry  : Deep Berry Colour 05 Sheer Elderbery The Body Shop Delipscious Photos and Swatches 07 Sheer Raspberry : It’s a candy pink colour. 07 Sheer Raspberry The Body Shop Delipscious Photos and Swatches 09 Sheer Pomegranate : It’s a reddish brown colour. Would go on most Indian Skin tones. 09 Sheer Pomegranate The Body Shop Delipscious Photos and Swatches Here are the swatches : TBS delipcious Lipsticks The Body Shop Delipscious Photos and Swatches The texture of the lipsticks is very buttery. They go on sheer, infact you have to apply them quite a number of times to get the colour. I wore the Sheer raspberry colour at the store. The lipsticks are super moisturizing, they give a nice lip glossy shine to the lips. The staying power I would say is not that great . It lasted for barely 2 hours and I did have some drinks and snacks during that time. The lipsticks have slight fruity smell to them but once on lips, they didn’t taste of anything. People who have pigmented lips should definitely try them at the store before purchasing because these lipsticks are sheer so you must check beforehand as to how they look on your lips.

If I keep the staying power aside, these are just beautiful-beautiful lip colours. They look so gorgeous on lips , I might go back and pick up the 07  Sheer Raspberry for myself.

The only drawback that I saw was that since these are so buttery and soft lipsticks, they might melt during this hot weather.

Definitely give them a try.

I would go for either 01 or o7. I think they the would be a good substitute for tinted lipbalms. BTW I have got TBS Mineral Foundation and am lovin’ it. It has got only only only minerals. I have the full satisfaction that am using 100% pure minerals on my face. :-) ) . It does not have even an iota of synthetice ingredients. At last my search for pure mineral foundation has come to an end :-)

oh wow!! Lavnaya, that’s excellent. :) TBS mineral foundation didn’t impress me too much but may be now I should give it a second thought. :)

yeah, these lipsticks are a great substitute for tinted lip balms and best hing is that they are not potted as the regular lip balms. Easy to apply and the colours are the kinds that there is something for everyone. :)

Yes. Try it. I would go on beautifully well for you. It gives a polished glow. A glow which you get after an intensive exfoliation. I jus’ cant stop raving about it :-D . Normal skin types would love it. It has got a mineral Illite(hope I got the spelling right) which is supposed to pull out the toxins from the skin like magnet. This was enough for me to be sold out. I would definitely repurchase for this single reason alone.

I have also heard good things about TBS Vit. E face mist. Wanna try dat too. Any idea about it ? ?:-)

No idea, Lavanya. But i have heard a lot of people raving about the TBS Vit E range.

I do have the mineral foundation as of now. Will give a try only only your reco after a few months. :)

Lavanya
The Vit E face mist is pretty neat (as is the Orange range mist too) – I was addicted to it for long before i have turned to rose and lavendar waters from more natural brands. (while saving the spray bottles to fill with the others :) )It leaves a slight moisutrising film on your face and works well. The Vit E face wash, exfoliator and the basic light day cream is ultimate too. Still using it and cant seem to do away ;)

Rati, are you a mind reader?Your review came up exactly at the right time when I have decided to buy these lipsticks and it would help me a lot to decide which ones to buy after going through the review and swatches.

Good one! Now that you described it, i remember I had a these sheer lipstick cum gloss from TBS 2 yrs back – it was practically the same as this – only that the packaging was plain metallic and probably shades were fewer.
It is very sheer but what you feel after wearing is I’d say – “princess-ey” – that nice little tint of color and the buttery feeling – YUMM! It does NOT stay on like you have said – so I ended up finishing it up very fast! (probably wore it everyday and it lasted like a month tops – not sure) and when i went back to get it they had discontinued :( cant wait to get this now!

Rati July 12, 2010 at 1:34 pm

oh!! two years back i was probably not even using any lipstick. he he :P

I think these are going to get sold evry soon because they are very wearable and a lot of women prefer sheer lippies.

Let me know which ones you pick. You are on one hell of a lipstick haul. :P

Reply

Gaea July 12, 2010 at 7:28 pm

:) yea i guessed as much that it may sell fast the moment i said it! and for the sheer laziness and distance i may end up missing my TBS visit :(
aww Rati dont remind me about my lippie hauls :(
wonder how u manage with the many things in each, that you have!
