The Body Shop Double Ended Blackhead Remover Review

The Body Shop Double Ended Blackhead Remover Review

I’ve almost never left The Body Shop store without at least picking something. Everything I’ve tried from here is a gem, and this tool is nothing less than that. Initially, when I saw this in the store, I wanted to pick it up immediately. However, since I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to use it well, I didn’t. I went back home and checked out a few websites on how to use it, after which I went back to the store to buy it. Read on to know why you may want to own this one!

My Experience with The Body Shop Double Ended Blackhead Remover:

I don’t get blackheads at all, but I do get some whiteheads on my nose and cheeks. I’m not a fan of facials at salons because of way too many reasons (salon aunties acting like a dermatologist, salon aunties forcing you to buy their products, anyone? :p). I like to take the simple route, which involves cleansing, scrubbing, extracting, mask-ing, moisturizing and finally, relaxing! This extraction tool has a small and a large comedone remover, attached on both ends. Since it is made out of stainless steel, it is quite sturdy. Before I begin to extract, I place a warm, wet towel on my face for a few minutes, to open the pores and ease the entire process. Then I proceed to use the smaller end of the tool to clear all the whiteheads. It performs an excellent job, since I’m always left with smooth skin after I’m done pampering myself. I’ve never used the larger end though, since it looks like I might do some damage to my skin if I apply too much pressure using it. After I’m done using it, I make sure to deep clean it before I store it away. The only con I see here is that I don’t have a storage container to place this in. I simply place it in the plastic wrap that this came in, when I bought it. Before performing extraction on your own, I’d suggest you watch some tutorials. If done inappropriately, this can severely damage the skin and lead to scarring. It is a very handy beauty tool and I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

    1. heheee 😀 It does seem scary, but since I’m aware that I’ve personally disinfected it, I feel much satisfied using it, as opposed to when I visit a salon 🙂

    1. Thank you 😀 Whiteheads toh hai na Arps :p Sometimes I fret over it a lot and then I remind myself, there are many other things that I should be worrying about 🙂

  1. Tis tool has always worked for me since i like doing facials at home and not with those aunties.. i went to a parlour when i had a marriage o attend.. the aunty did the facial and she herself was telling me “Aapka face bahut glow kar raha hai ab, skin mein difference dekho pehle me aur ab mein” and i was like i am never coming here again.. let the others tell if there was actually a difference then it would be satisfactory comment.. 😉 🙂

    1. Hahaha! Exactly Saloni 😀 Its either jhooti taareef or they’d try to find something odd in your face to sell you their products 😛
