The Body Shop Earth Lovers Shower Gel Pear & Lemongrass Review

Claims : Alternatively, envelop yourself in the fresh aromas of Pear & Lemongrass. The sweetness of the pear fragrance is balanced by the clean, citrusy scent of lemongrass.

Ingredients ;

Price : Rs 375 for 250 ml.

What I like about The Body Shop Earth Lovers Shower Gel Pear & Lemongrass

The fragrance. It is a very very very fresh pear + mild citrusy + mild cucumber kinda fragrance. It would give you that feel of natural , earthy kinda feel. there is nothing synthetic about the smell. In one word , the smell is just “FRESH”. Loveeee!!
Not too much is required for one shower.
It gives a nice clean and fresh feeling after the bath.
The shower gel is soap free, paraben free, sulphate and colourant free.
Despite being soap free , it lathers pretty well. Not like the bubble bath kinda of lather but it is just fine.
The shower gel is very gentle on skin. Whether I use a body lotion after using this shower gel or not, my skin doesn’t feel dry. I have gone without using moisturizer so many times but my skin still stays quite comfortable. Btw , I have dry skin.
It washes off pretty well. There is a slight slippery feeling that you may feel after washing but nothing too bothersome .
Not tested on animals.
Shower gel is comes packed in a green flip top cap bottle – pretty and easier to use.

What I don’t like about The Body Shop Earth Lovers Shower Gel Pear & Lemongrass

The fragrance does not linger on for long. It has a soft mild fragrance that lingers on just for a while. Not an issue for me because I anyway rely on perfumes for fragrance.

Swatch :

It is a transparent shower gel. Also, this shower gel is a little more liquidy than the regular shower gels. The bottle is green in colour.

I have another variant in this shower gel range and I am totally loving the mildness and gentleness of these shower gels. Not only in summers, these would be great for winters as well.

I would definitely and definitely purchase these myself.
