The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel Review

Hello Beauties,

I have been swooning over the new launches from The Body Shop. I love their new ranges, especially their Frosted Cranberry Line. I have purchased all possible products from this line and these red angels have become my hot favorite these days. I literally smell like a cranberry farmer or may be a cherry tart bakery owner? I am obsessed with these little red riding hoods and how??? Now coming to the point, the product that I am going to review today is the Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel. Is it a treat for the skin?Let’s find out through this review.

TBS Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel

Packaging:

The product comes in a sleek and slender transparent container. It has a flip-top lid that closes with a click. On the lid there is an etched logo of the body shop. The product is a shiny deep red fluid, which makes the transparent bottle incarnadine. All details are present on the container. The packaging is nice, but too plain. It really lacks that attractive quotient.

My Experience with The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel:

Like all other products from this line, it has a strong fruity smell. It basically smells of cherry tarts to be precise. The fragrance though strong does not last long. The product moisturizes while cleansing, but it does not lather much without a loofah. The product has a runny consistency, and quite a handful is needed to have a good spread. This product is by far the most disappointing when compared to the body butter or body polish. But does however, lift your mood with its refreshing fragrance. Even if it does not contribute much to make your skin soft and supple.

TBS Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel

To sum up the product, it works for your skin moderately. Though, it does not do much as a shower gel. It is more of a skin rejuvenating and aromatic property enriched product. Quite wrongly marketed as a shower gel. The only good it does is that it does not rip off the natural moisture of the skin. But, with the winter gale making my skin all dry and flakey; I would rather appreciate a wonder product that infused shine into my skin. I guess I will have to stick to the other shower gels from The Body Shop.

Pros of The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel:

  • Nice smell.
  • Sturdy packaging.
  • Does not make you skin dry.

Cons of The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel:

  • Does not add anything towards the betterment of your skin.
  • Does not lather.

IMBB Rating:

Would I recommend/repurchase The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel?

I don’t see myself repurchasing it or even recommending it to my peers. I would however vouch for the other Frosted Cranberry products, which are a must try. But, not the shower gel… it was too plain for the price.
