A big hello to all the beautiful people out there. I am finally back to what I missed the most.. writing reviews. I was held up with so many things in the past that I could not write for months altogether. But I will mention one thing that I never missed visiting the blog every single day.. 😀 Today’s review is about a new launch from one of my favorite brand- The Body Shop. It’s a 2-in- 1 wash that can be used for body as well as hair.

Product Description: KISTNA HAIR & BODY WASH, 3-in-1 cleanser, shampoo and skin conditioner with aromatic Kistna fragrance.

This head-to-toe body wash for men has a fresh green scent. It leaves skin and hair clean and fresh.

How to use: Lather up in the bath or shower and massage into skin and hair. Rinse thoroughly.

Shelf Life: 3 years from the date of manufacturing.

Fragrance description: KISTNA is an aromatic spicy fragrance. Top notes are bergamot, grapefruit and orange; middle notes are thyme, basil and geranium; base notes are patchouli, cedar and moss.

My experience with The Body Shop Kistna Hair and Bodywash

To start with this product is categorized as a men’s grooming product but when I sniffed this at the store I totally fell for it. The smell is so refreshing and energizing. I instantly bought it without any second thoughts. I would not lie but yes I use it every single day after my workout sessions or when I have a tiring day at office. It wakes up my senses the moment I take it on loofah and work it to a rich lather. It lathers very well. You need not take a huge quantity. A spoonful of amount (if at all measuring the gel with spoon makes sense :D) is enough to make enough lather for the entire body. After a heavy workout session when your whole body is sweating and you just want to relax use this body wash.. it will actually soothe your nerves and make you feel refreshed again.I guess the specific KISTNA fragrance accounts for that fresh smell. It does not dry out the skin neither you need litres of water to wash it off. tI does not leave any funny residue or film on the skin. Just a refreshing fragrance is what you are left with. I mostly use it in my evening showers and don’t follow up with a moisturizer. That does not make my skin dry and stretchy. It’s pretty manageable. My skin is squeaky clean once I am done with the shower. I have normal skin which is slightly on the drier side but that purely depends on the weather conditions. In normal climate my skin behaves pretty well even without a moisturizer but that’s only for evenings that too when I am not stepping out. If at all I have to go for night outs I prefer using a light weight body lotion. Overall it gives an energizing bathing experience. I come out refreshed after every shower. It has found a permanent place in my kitty after the exclusive range of shower gels from Palmolive..

Hmmm… I could not find any.

Final Verdict: If you are ready to spend 695 bucks for an amazingly refreshing bath this is a must have. Go get that..  I am in any case not going to change my evening shower gel for a long-long time.
