But I am super excited today as she started crawling on her knees after slug crawling.  Just waiting for her to walk on her feet now 🙂 Anyway, let’s talk about today’s TBS skin care product, which is naturally derived (98 % ingredients are of natural origin) Nutriganics Smoothing Face Mask.  I am using it since 1- 1.5 months and currently hooked on to it totally.  Please read on further to know about this face mask.

My Experience with The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Mask:

Well, after drooling over TBS products reviewed on IMBB, I grabbed all goodies at 40% discount during New Year.  I was really impressed by Nutriganics 98% naturally derived tagline. Moreover, it targets early signs of ageing and you all know about my love for anti-ageing products 😛 So, it was a golden chance for me to grab as many TBS masks as I could. I bought two masks at one go; however, I feel I won’t open the second pack before 6 months as the first pack is still full enough to last for half of the year, isn’t it wow.

This particular Nutriganics mask is very thick textured and mildly scented, just apt for travelling.  Since its thick in nature, I need to either wet my face with rose water before smearing it all over the face or mix honey with this mask just to make it more easily applicable and more beneficial.  It works well both ways!

At first when you look at the small jar, you feel you are screwed at such a high price, but you need to apply it only once/twice a week and you will be amazed to see the jar looking full even after a month. However, I got it at 40% rebate, so I hardly think I am screwed right now.  Coming over to its results, I must say it lives up to its claims to some extent. I don’t have any ageing skin thankfully, but I feel it’s the right time for me to look for an anti-ageing regimen as I am stepping into my late 20s and early care is best than later worries.

The best part is that its such an easy task to just take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and you are done in 10 minutes, sounds wow right! For messy mums like me, its a savior product as I hardly get time to make homemade masks courtesy my hubby and growing baby.  Hence, I always look for healthy alternative to homemade masks and this mask ends up my search partially. I said partially because I feel it only provides benefits against early signs of ageing, but is not a good cleanser as it does nothing for my blackheads on the nose area. However, it does take care of mini zits on my face and even controls shine apart from giving firmness and brightness to the face.  It contains carrot, clay and olive.  I feel my face is more firm and toned after using it and the effect lasts for around 2 days. Hence, I use it every 3rd day to get maximum benefits.

The little mess is about rinsing it off from the face as it is so silky and sticky on the face.  Once dried, I need to splash my face a million times to wash it off completely. I feel for dry, combination and oily skin beauties who are looking for a good anti-ageing product, this face mask is a good choice. Dry skin might need to follow up with a moisturizer I feel.

I am literally hooked onto this mask.  It gave me instant freshness, firmness and toned skin apart from mattifying effect as well I swear and now I have been using it since a month, so I may see visible difference in my skin tone and texture clearly. I would recommend it to every gal who is suffering from early signs of ageing or the ones looking for late 20s skin care regimen.

• A perfect mask for every skin type treating early signs of ageing gently and effectively.
• 98% of ingredients are of natural origin.

• Provides instant firmness, freshness to face apart from toning skin.
• The overall toned effect lasts for 2 days.
• Such an easy task to apply and wash off after 10 minutes.
• It also smoothes out skin texture by depressing small zits on the face.
• It also helps in soaking oil from face and keep it shine free for good hours.
• TBS is against animal testing.

Cons of The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Mask:

• It’s not effective on black heads and acne/acne scars.
• Little messy to wash it off from face once it has dried.
• Price might be a turn off.
• Quantity (though it does last long).

Apart from these cons, I hardly faced any issue while using this face mask. I use it after cleansing and scrubbing off blackheads with pore strip and feel facial like effect on my skin which lasts for 2 days, what else do we need.  I would probably repurchase it irrespective of the price and quantity considering its instant and visible results on my skin. You should give it a try and I am sure you will love your skin after using it.
