My Experience with The Body Shop Pomegranate Invigorating Toner:

It comes in a beautiful maroon packaging, but you cannot make out the amount of product left through it. The dispenser is easy to use and allows control over the product. All the details are printed over the packaging, including full ingredients list. The bottle is sturdy and hence travel friendly. This 200ml bottle isn’t bulky and will last you more than 2 months if you use toners daily. It is completely transparent like most of the toners. It smells like sweet pomegranates along with a bit of alcohol.

details

The consistency is thin, thinner than water. The cotton swabs takes it well, without dripping and it gets spread on the face well. As you apply the toner on your skin, it removes even the last traces of makeup and dirt well, leaving behind fresh and clean skin. With time, like other toners, it does not dry out my skin, probably that’s why it is meant for aging/natured skin. Your skin actually looks clear and bright and you can feel how well this toner has worked. It gets absorbed or evaporated (whatever you like to believe) in few seconds. After that you can move on with your regime – serum, eye cream, oil, moisturiser, whatever you have to apply.

But, don’t get so excited yet. Here is the sitch! It stings a bit around the nose area and on freshly waxed/threaded skin. I usually do not get any redness or irritation from skin care products, but this one makes my skin look red in a bad way; just a little, but it concerns me. So, I feel if you have sensitive skin, you must take a patch test before buying it. It might not hurt your skin, but do not take chances.

Overall I really like this toner – it is so efficient at everything it claims. I really love how it makes my skin feel fresh and how it does not dry out my skin. To me, toner isn’t an absolute necessity, but I prefer using one on days I stay out in dirt and on days I wear makeup. My only concern is a little redness that it gives me, still I like it.

Pros of The Body Shop Pomegranate Invigorating Toner:

• Packaging
• Removes all the impurities and last specks of makeup
• Refreshing
• Freshens up the skin
• Does not dry out the skin
• Brightens up the skin
• Keeps my skin soft

Cons of The Body Shop Pomegranate Invigorating Toner:

• Causes a little redness around nose area
• Pricey for a toner

IMBB Rating:
4/5
