Hope you guys had an amazing Christmas, and have great things planned for the New Year! The holiday season turned me into a Body Shop fanatic because I simply love yummy-smelling stuff and there’s a lot of limited edition products on sale now. The Cranberry range seems to be the most popular right now but I was intrigued by the Spiced Vanilla collection because of its heavenly smell. Unfortunately the body butters in the holiday range were selling like hot cakes so I couldn’t get the body butter >.The lotion comes in a bright yellow long bottle with a pump. You need to twist the pump a certain way to release it and then you can use the lotion. Here’s how it looks –

The product claims:
Moisturising lotion scented with vanilla and a hint of spice. With vanilla extract and Community Fair Trade cocoa butter.

Price: Rs. 775/-

Quantity: 250 ml (8.4 US FL OZ)

It smells like fresh Christmas cake along with a dash of magic and spices like cinnamon, cloves and star anise – sounds pretty amazing, doesn’t it? The lotion is just right – not clumpy or oily, and it glides onto my skin. The staying power is pretty awesome too – I work from 10.30 am to 6:30 pm and even at 8 I could still faintly smell it on my skin.

Here’s a look at the ingredients –

I love this body lotion mainly for its smell and staying power. It does its job well – I have extremely dry skin, it gets that annoying peel-off scaly feel during this time of year, so this does help reduce that.

Pros:
• Amazing smell, very delicious-smelling.
• When used right after bath, it moisturizes well.
• Very good staying power.

Cons:
• A little on the expensive side.
• Availability – it’s only a limited edition product .

Would I repurchase: Yes, yes yes!!! Verdict: Smells good enough to eat, moisturizes and stays on like a dream, I LOVE it! If you don’t like strong/dessert smells in body lotions, this is not for you.
