The Body Shop Strawberry Beautifying Oil Review

Here I am with another TBS review 😀 Sorry for torturing you people with the repetitive brands 😛 But what can I do? As I said earlier, they’re the best! 😀

Today, I’ll be reviewing the Strawberry Beautifying Oil.I bought it online during sale-season and gosh I am surprised after purchasing it. Does it really live up to its claims? Is it worth the price? Find out ahead!

Price :

₹1,095 but I got it online for ₹876.

4) Made with a lightweight blend of Nut Oils including Community Fair Trade Marula oil.

6) It has a sweet Strawberry scent.

2) Also contains Kukui Oil, Sweet Almond & Marula Oil.
3) Apply to Damp Skin or Dry Skin & Hair.
4) Hydrates Skin Instantly.
5) Comes in a Gold Plastic Transparent Bottle with a Flip-Top Cap.
6) Shelf Life – 2.5 Years.

My Take On The Body Shop Strawberry Beautifying Oil:

My skin texture varies from dry to very dry. I bought the strawberry beautifying oil as I was intrigued. I read that it can be used on the body and hair! I thought to myself that I just had to try it and I was really surprised to finding no review of it on IMBB. Well, so here I am! Starting with the bottle – It comes in a cute small gold plastic transparent bottle so you know how much you’ve used. The bottle makes it travel-friendly and the oil is such that it can be applied anytime and anywhere. The fragrance, at first, (to me) smells like Twining’s Jasmine Tea but then it mellows down to a sweet strawberry scent as claimed. The oil is of a runny texture (like water) but as I apply it and spread it evenly on my hands, it gets absorbed quickly and leaves an amazing glossy finish. The dry-oil as they call it, leaves no sign of any stickiness or oiliness. So this means that the oil can be used even during the coming summers without us worrying about that oily feel on our hands while travelling. It moisturizes my skin very well and for a long time, that too! I feel it’s a great buy because even a few drops of the oil are enough 🙂

Strengths of The Body Shop Strawberry Beautifying Oil :

• Leaves a nice glistening finish.
• A little goes a long way.
• True to its claims.
• Provides amazing hydration on the skin!
• Makes hair smell nice and takes care of the odor (if you’re having a bad hair day).
• Gold plastic bottle makes it travel-friendly.
• Classy gold packaging.
• Non-sticky and non-oily.
• Absorbs quickly into the skin & onto the hair.
• Hydration lasts for a long time.

Flaws of The Body Shop Strawberry Beautifying Oil :

• Expensive.
• Less quantity for the price.Hair becomes oily and greasy if used too much in quantity.
• Staying power of the fragrance isn’t too long
• Beauties with very dry-skin might not find this effective enough.

Conclusion :

I love it! I know it’s expensive but the quantity outlives the price. But be careful and don’t use a lot of it thinking it’s dry oil, it will make your hair oily and not in the serum kind of way. It leaves an amazing shiny finish on the skin and moisturizes it oh-so-well! No more rough hands 😀 Plus, it’s non-sticky and non-oily!! It’s also true to its claims. All I would say is that, it’s a great buy! Ignore the price as you can afford to spend on your luxuries once in a while 😉
