Whats does The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish claim?

Have good, clean fun and smooth skin at the same time thanks to this fragrance foaming gel-based scrub that’s gentle enough to use everyday. Dead skin cells are removed in no time, revealing brighter, healthy-looking skin thanks to natural exfoliators. Containing Community Trade organic honey.

The Body Shop Strawberry Polish

Price : Rs 445 (Indian Rupees) for 200 ml I got it for Rs 380/-

About The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish:

Honey - Zambian Honey we use comes from the remote tropical forests of north west Zambia, where it’s farmed using traditional methods that preserve the forest and beekeepers’ way of life. By choosing to buy items containing Zambian Community Traded honey, you’re helping to preserve an ancient way of life.

Strawberry juice - Is rich in vitamin c and antioxidant compounds that help to protect and nourish the skin. Is rich in salicylic acid, which has good pore-cleansing properties. Provides the naturally sweet and sumptuous fragrance. Provides the red colour of the product.

Crushed walnut shells and kiwi seeds - Gently exfoliate the skin.

Organic Honey - Moisturizes the skin.

Tips for using The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish: Use everyday for maximum effect. Regular exfoliating and massaging can help tone and firm the skin. When dry, moisturize with Strawberry Body Lotion.

How to use The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish: Massage in circular movements over your body whilst in the bath or shower to help remove dead skin cells and boost circulation.

First of all I have to thank Divija for recommending this awesome product. I never thought I’d get addicted to it. :P

The Body Shop Strawberry Polish

What I love about The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish?

  • It smells yummy just like fresh crushed strawberries.
  • It’s a very gentle exfoliator. I generally don’t like harsh exfoliators except for my feet. Also my skin gets very dry if I use apricot or walnut scrubs (read Himalaya) on my body. This has soft kiwi and walnut exfilators that are gentle on the skin.
  • It lathers well. I use it with my yellow pom pom and it makes my whole bath experience super cute. :P
  • Even after bathing the fresh fruity smell lingers on for a while.
  • I like how big the tube it. It is good enough to last you for a two months considering that you use it twice or thrice a week. However it is so tempting, I guess I am going to finish this up very soon.
  • Comes in a tube so you can control the quantity of the product that you want to use.

What I don’t love about The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish?

  • It is so addictive that you want to finish it up within a week and purchase another tube. :P

I love it and I also want to try this out the Satsuma Body Polish (Orange).

The Body shop is offering a 15% discount on the Body Polishes for next few days. You may just want to grab at least one of this.

The product has SLS in it but I’ll forgive it this time. :)

Have you tried the Body Shop’s Body Polish?

PS: Net wasn’t working the whole day today so couldn’t post the article and now I am sitting in some other part of the town so can use only the official image. Will post the real pics asap.

Awww…so sweet of u for the credits :)

Only thing I dont like abt this is the “addiction” part…i know how it feels as i have been thru’…

no intentions to scare you, but are you sure u wanna try satsuma? do you like punchy citrus scents? do you remember the drink Rasna? did u ever taste it in orange flavor? satsuma is somewhere nearer to Rasna orange, but so damn pungent….i almost faint every time and something happens in my head whenever i inhale the scent…

funny part; u dont have to go in search of satsuma…if u are near or around, it will obviously call you for attention….i cant take the smell from my luggage……its too strong for my liking, but tats a difference experience again :) who knows? u might like it better…

You know I checked out both the fragrances before buying but since strawberry is always closer to the heart, I picked it up. I will surely give satsuma a try becasue I think it deserves it. :P I loved the fragrance of my Fab India bitter orange spray so the satsuma might work for me.

Rasna orange. :rotfl:

Right now, I’m not in a strawberry phase at all. But I’m still SO tempted by your review! Not to mention by the rich, luscious deep red of the product itself :inlove: Yummmm!

Sounds so lovely, just like the other strawberry products from TBS:P (thanks for explaining)
Should really pay a visit soon. Just bought fresh strawberries, can’t stop eating! If there is some left I’ll try that strawberry/honey mask tomorrow. Oh and I want to tell you once again: I’m so happy with my hair, yesterday at school I got a lot of compliments about it, just following your tips can do that:D

I love this product :-)

Especially the slight minty-ness it leaves behind..

Satsuma is definitely not for me LOL

Really!! I am thinking of giving it a try. Now that you and Divija don’t like it that much I am giving it second thoughts.

Hmm..

I think its a personal preference Rati. Since you love the bitter orange spray, you could just give a trial at the store..and maybe walk around for some time with the fragrance and then buy.

Actually I love citrusy smells, but only the natural ones..Recently I happened to smell the St.Ives Citrus bodywash and was almost on the verge of puking. But the vanilla and oatmeal smelled yumm.. I use a lot of orange EO in diffusers, but somehow seem to detest products that claim to have citrus in them.

This is one product I have been addicted to for the last two years or so! I recently bought the Satsuma Shower Gel and Puree Lotion, so decided to buy the Satsuma Body Polish instead of my usual Strawberry one. I like the Satsuma range, the smell took a little getting used to, but I prefer the Strawberry Body Polish for sure. As far as smells go I think Wild Cherry has been my favorite line from TBS :)

BTW, great blog, will be a regular visitor here now onwards :)

Hi Sunayna,

Welcome to IMBB. :)

I don’t think I am going to pick up satsuma. Not my flavour. :)

Would definitely take a look at the Wild Cherry range. Thanks and keep visiting. :)

Hi

I would definitely try the satsuma range – I absolutely love it, and the fragrance lingers on for a couple of hours. Don’t let the other reviews put you off.
