How to Use:
Massage into the skin – be generous! – and allow to sink in before dressing. It works even better straight after a bath or shower.

Packaging:
The body butter comes in a typical The Body Shop packaging with a white tub and a pink cap. The body butter inside is pure white and has a very sweet musky smell.
The name of the product is printed over the packaging in silver. And, all the other details about the product are printed on a tiny booklet kind of sticker that is at the bottom of the tub.
My Experience with The Body Shop White Musk Libertine Body Butter:
The first body butter that I ever used was from Bath and Body Works which made me fall in love with the texture. But by now, I have used body butters from a lot of brands. So, I am in a fair position to compare the leading brands line Bath and Body Works, Victoria’s Secret and The Body Shop. Among all three of these, I found Victoria’s Secret to have the best quality and fragrance.
I bought this body butter while visiting the store to check out the Smoky Poppy range of products that have been launched recently. Well, I didn’t like the scent of those products and their scent reminded me of my father’s shaving cream. 😀 I liked the packaging, though.
The white musk fragrance is very mild and demure and the best part is that it is cruelty free musk. The texture is very buttery and glides over the skin very easily. Since, I use it after shower it keeps my skin hydrated for a good 4-5 hours. This range is quite popular and I now know why! 😀
The only thing that I have a complaint about is that The Body Shop is supposed to be more about natural skincare, but I was surprised to see the long list of chemicals along with a few natural ingredients.
Pros of The Body Shop White Musk Libertine Body Butter:

Cons of The Body Shop White Musk Libertine Body Butter:
• Long list of chemicals.
• False claims of 24 hour hydration (brands should be sued for such irrelevant claims).

Yes! They are a good choice for people who have dry skin like me. 😀
