The Face Shop Acai Berry Real Nature Mask Review

Hey lovelies!

I hope you all are doing well!

Now that I’ve introduced you to a couple of face mask sheets by The Face Shop, let me continue doing the precise honor. I was serious when I let you all know that I had done some major , and now I planning to go back and stock up on some of my favorites.

The Face Shop Acai Berry Real Nature Mask Review

Acai berry (actually berries in general) are rich in anti-oxidants, which are important to prevent signs of aging and firming up the skin. My mom has pretty good skin to start off with, but that doesn’t stop her from trying out great products in the market. So, let’s find out what she thinks about this mask sheet!

Claims :

A firming mask sheet containing Acai Berry extract to improve resilience and provide moisturized firmness to the skin.

Price:

$ 4 for one sheet.

My Experience with The Face Shop Acai Berry Real Nature Mask:

While reviewing these mask sheets, I feel I’m beginning to sound monotonous, right? But, still, starting off with the same drill, each sachet consists of a folded, single, white cotton sheet, saturated with a liquid. Unfolding the mask can be a little tricky, but once it is done, all you need to do is adjust it as best as you can, to fit your face well.

The mask is well balanced that means it is superbly saturated with the liquid, but not so much that it drips a lot. The liquid has a slightly thicker consistency compared to some of the other masks that I have tried out.

My mum put it on for about 30 minutes, and during that entire time, it provided a cooling and calming sensation. It smells very nice, floral and berry-like. Like always, once she pulled the mask off, she took the remaining liquid in the sachet (which is about a teaspoon) and massaged it all over her face and neck. The liquid is slightly tacky, but not bothersome.

Her skin looked brighter and glowing! It looked well hydrated, while the fine lines around her eyes looked diminished. It did give a feel of firmed skin, which was soft to touch. Her skin wasn’t irritated, which is something to note since she has sensitive skin.

The results last for about a day or two, but this is the case with most masks. Overall, she was happy about this mask, and she thinks that is at par with the Pomegranate one by TFS.

Pros of The Face Shop Acai Berry Real Nature Mask:

• Gives a firming effect to the skin.
• Makes the skin glow and keeps it hydrated.
• Gives the skin a brighter look.
• Temporarily diminishes the lines around the eye area.
• Smells wonderful.
• Effect lasts for about 2 days.

Cons of The Face Shop Acai Berry Real Nature Mask:

• Contains parabens.
• The fit of the mask.

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5

  1. Nice review!! I am going to get it!! Luckily for me..it will just cost a dollar here in Japan!! Also some Japanese women sleep with the mask on for better results!! I have never tried doing it..seems uncomfortable!!

    1. You are soooo lucky Prerna 😀 These are expensive where I live. Would love to visit Japan and Korea just to try out their innovative products 😀 Ohh yes! The SA at TFS did tell me that you could do that. But that would be so messy 🙂
