Product Description:

Get damage control with one of nature’s most effective skin soothers. Aloe Vera conditions and hydrates dry, rough and sun-exposed skin putting back into it what the sun takes out.

How to use product

• Apply generously following exposure to the sun.
• You can even use it for sun burns.

My Experience with The Nature’s Co. Aloe Vera After Sun Gel:-

Thanks to the scorching heat in Chennai, I get tanned even if I am exposed to the sun for 10-15 minutes. There is also a dry stretchy feel to the skin which I believe is due to the damage caused by sun exposure. I was using the regular Aloe Vera gel by The Body Shop (finished “n” number of tubes) until I searched and found this product which was aimed at something I was really looking for.

The Gel comes in a typical tube packaging. It is see through plastic with a sturdy flip top cap. Details about the product are mentioned at the back, including the ingredients. I must say the packaging is something this brand really needs to work upon. Keeping the earthy, nature- inspired look alive, a lot can be done to make the products stand out.

Coming to the efficacy of the product, the gel is intended to provide a cooling feel to the sun exposed skin. It does not claim de-tanning benefits. So, it is like a cooling pack to the skin. It simply sits on the skin giving a lovely fresh feel to the otherwise dried parched skin. Though it is not mentioned, but I wash it off after the cooling feel subsides. The gel is not sticky but when applied generously, after absorption I want to feel my skin clean. But that is me; you need not wash it off. Rather keeping it on would help hydrate the skin all the more.

The texture is fine and color is dirty yellow. I can see food grade colors have been used; I think that is totally not necessary. Just to prove that it is aimed as an after-sun gel, you need not add color to it. Anyways, it has not broken me out thankfully and has been kind enough on my skin; so I guess I should not complain. Only thing I really do not like about the product is the fruity smell. But as I do not keep it on for very long, I take it as a mini fruit mask.

Pros of The Nature’s Co. Aloe Vera After Sun Gel:-

• Effective.
• Cooling.
• No parabens.
• All natural ingredients.
• Affordable.

• Boring packaging.
