The Nature’s Co. Hazelnut Body Lotion Review

Hope you all are doing great! I recently purchased The Nature’s Co Hazelnut body lotion online. I am quite fond of the Ferrero Rocher chocolates with the hazelnut core. Since I like nutty fragrances and the idea of Ferrero hazelnut was ingrained in my mind I thought lets buy this lotion. I know, crazy way how mind works!Let’s see how this lotion actually turned out to be.

Price: INR 545 for 250 ml

Product Claims: Rejuvenates & replenishes your skin; works wonders on parched skin; Tones & tightens. Rejuvenate and replenish your skin with this quick-penetrating lotion. Brimming with vitamins, minerals and proteins, Hazelnut works wonders on parched skin. It tones and tightens and is extremely emollient. Apply it liberally and evenly, both in the morning and night. It is especially effective when applied on moist skin after bathing.

My Experience with the Natures’ Co Hazelnut Body Lotion:

The Nature’s Co Hazelnut Body lotion comes in the standard nature’s co bottle with a flip open cap. The bottle is transparent and quite sturdy. Like all other nature’s co products it is completely natural, eco-friendly and devoid of harsh chemicals.The body lotion has a thick lotion consistency .It spreads easily and quickly sinks in. It moisturizes well and the moisturizing effect lasts for a good 4-5 hours. The skin feels soft for a really long time and has a nice sheen to it. So far so good, no? Wait wait…now comes the killer bomb. I have not yet talked about its awesome fragrance! Remember how I was wishfully dreaming of nutty Ferrero rochers?

Well the smell…oh the smell…is just ugghhh disgusting! It has such a strong aggarbatti and I don’t know what smell. I absolutely and wholeheartedly hate it! The strong smell is so annoying it gives me headache induced nausea and I must wash my hands repeatedly to get rid of the it. And the pathetic fragrance still does not let me be in peace unless I wash my hands 3-4 times. It’s super icky. I am not saying, everyone will hate its smell, but please do smell it for yourself before buying.

The lotion by itself is a pretty nice product. But due to its annoying smell this has become a “what the hell was I thinking- product”! I only use it for the soles of my feel. Which have naturally grown quite well moisturized and crack free: P?

• I absolutely HATE the smell (urgh)!

Final Verdict:

Please my dear friends, do smell this lotion before buying it! It has a rather strong smell which I personally hate. So no way I am buying this lotion again…EVER!!
