Tips & Toes Exotic Eyes- Envious Green, Swatches, EOTD
Long back, on my visit to Saravana Stores, I hauled like crazy. The reason is that I dread crowded shopping and also it triggers my cold or some kind of allergy since it is . So I seldom go there to visit and when I did,I shopped from every single makeup counter there.
There, at the end of the long counter, the Tips & Toes counter stands. I went and swatched some shades in lipsticks but found them over-priced for the quality. But when I saw the eye colors, they were fantastic, the metallic, pearl kind of shades in four gorgeous palettes like the way I like them! I picked up three I believe and now I am reviewing the green one today.
I love khaki for the eyes. This palette has a pretty khaki, then a lighter henna green shade, then a pastel blue for highlight and a great matte black. Now see this was the black I felt missing in the Lotus purestay range eye shadows.
The shades are soft enough, the henna is very soft and the black does not have fall out . The blue is very soft and a great highlight, the soft green is nice as well but not as pigmented. I love them all but I am not sure why the highlight is blue but the others are right in place.
The packaging is a stunning mirror finish body with a huge mirror inside which is good enough for you eye makeup.I quite like the quad pack and the mirror finish too. The shades are all soft shimmer expect the black which is matte.
I wore them for four to five hours with very mild creasing so to say. On a primer these will be great. The texture is soft and it is not chalky and the powder are pigmented and I could not see any fall out.The black in there is so essential and useful and I love that they have put thought behind it. They blend well and stick well without a base too and have no powdery-ness or fall out to them.

Last word:
For a price of Rs.275, these have surpassed my expectations. I recommend these to everyone who loves eye makeup and will be reviewing the others too on IMBB 🙂
